Phone number coming in as 1-619-512-2562 which says Commun Backbone. I answer and
they hung up in my face.  Just want everyone
to know they're using another number.

Since Monday we have received three different numbers from Backbone Comm, they are 201-595-0769, 267-352-6562, 732-414-7106. When I call the numbers back they ask me to enter a pin number.  Have no idea what this is about.  Any suggestions.

I just got a call and my young daughter answered they stated that it was Gerry from social security

Get a  loud whistle and blow it into the phone next time they call! They keep calling me to I just don't answer and they never leave a message!

Just received my first call from the "Backbone Community" tonight..Of course since I have caller ID and have no idea what the heck this so called community is..I dont answer..They dont leave a message..But here is the # that I have for them..(516)953-6009.. I did call because I am a curious George to see who the call was from..It is telemarketing for sure..I just added them to my call screening list..

Who the Hell are they,  and what do they want,  or do or offer ?

In the past I received hundreds of calls from "Rachael" of "Cardholder Services" despite being on the do not call registry.  They continued to call even though informed that the number was on the registry.  I reported them to the Federal Trade Commission through their system for reporting violations of the Do Not Call Registry NUMEROUS times.  I now receive calls from the "Backbone Commu" several times a day but no one ever answers.  The bottom line problem is the FTC.  No matter how many times you report a problem THEY TAKE NO ACTION.  I even called the FTC to see why nothing ever got done.  According to them, they only make the complaints available to law enforcement agencies.  The real problem is that we have numerous federal agencies that are huge but do nothing worthwhile.  I personally write my congressmen and senators frequently and request that a number of federal agencies be eliminated or at least reduced substantially in funding and manpower.  The agencies that I feed are useless to detrimental include the FTC, the Dept of Education, and a substantial portion of the FDA.

NO MESSAGE AFTER ANSWERED PHONE

I live in CA and have been getting phone calls at random hrs from these people but it is just a recording. No live person to talk to, so no way to even ask them to stop calling. And I just got this phone # last week, Scary they already have bought my phone #. I'm going to report them to my phone carrier because when I called the # back it came saying that it is a non-working telephone #. This was 2 minutes after they called me. Mmmmm, interesting and illegal. Harassment.

Calls from 813-200-7690 - won't stop.  Now I don't answer them.

Please remove us from CAll list.

I continue to receive annoying phone calls from this number (813-200-7690), asking if anyone in my house has diabetes.  They call me by my name, as if I have contacted them.  I have told them several times to remove me from their lists.  They seem to think this is a big joke.  The last guy who called even laughed when I told him I was going to report them to Better Business.  How in the world can these people be stopped!

When you call them back it says Welcome to verizon you have reached a number that is disconnected or out of service. How can that be. It was disconnected like 3 seconds after they called me ?? HUH ?

The caller got nasty and began making harrassing comments (!) when I told him my number was listed on the do-not-call list.

I received a call from 813.200.7690 and after finding out who it was I hung up.  They proceeded to call me right back and threatened me.  I asked to speak to a supervisor, several times.  The man yelled at me and said some very profain things.  I finally hung up again.

Someone from a l third world call center called concerning health care.  I said I couldn't understand her asked to speak to the supervisor.  She adamantly refused.

We get these calls at least daily,either we don't answer or when we do no one is there. Very annoying. Where do I report this phone abuse?

Call from number 813-200-7690, man ask if was diabetic, told him was none of his busness, started calling me names and profanity, cotninued for curse when I asked who this was and hung up on me

Got this call on my cell phone - answered to tell them to not EVER call my cell phone again. It is a recording - I tried to hit 0 to get a live person to the them to stop calling me - I am on the Do Not Call List. The recording lasted over 10 minutes long - it is a get rich quick scam and the website is:

Global Timeshare. Reported to DNC. I suggest you all do the same.

Keep getting calls from this number. No one answers. We've been scammed by these timeshare selling people before they don't want to talk to me or they will get an ear full. The government needs to do something about these low lifes. Too bad I can't get hold of them myself. I'd give them a butt whoppin'! If you're reading this. Call at your own risk. Got tracer on ya! Seems funny when you get the number on the ID it states Private but the number shows up and when you dial it back it's busy.

Our phone number is both unlisted, and entered with the federal do not call list.  Yet about once per month someone from this phone number will call our phone number, ask for us by Name, then go into some spiel.  Twice about diabetes, once about owing money, once after asking for us they just say nothing, and other times other things.

One.  How did they get our number?.
Two.  How did they get our name?
Three. Apparently they do not care that they are committing a felony (Aggravated Harassment).

They have been informed to stop calling.

I got a call from Backbone Communications this evening at 6:17 (Dinner time). I answered the call and no one was there.
At 6:27, I got another call.  Jenny wanted to know if we had a timeshare.  I asked her if she wanted to buy the timeshare.  She would not respond to that.  She said that there was no fee or commision involved. I told her not to call again.  We get these calls (from different people) all the time.  We are on the dnc list, but that is a joke.  Also, we got rid of our time share several years ago.

Invest in a whistle.  They do wonders!
