Collection Agency

Hi I want to know how to stop this number from calling and harassing me.  First of all the lady is named Iris and she states that myself or the attorney representing me should call her and she give a case number in reference but never said what the case is concerning.  Ok I am not dump but I think that the individual needs to be service first of the allegation of charges before a case number can be assigned. And I have never had any paperwork sent to me via us postal service.

This company is a bottom feeding collection agency!!! The owner is a prick and the company will be out of business soon.  They lie and say they are going to sue you and never do and most of the debt they call about is not even valid.  These people are trained to break the law and need to be stopped.  what they are doing 99% of the time is illegal
RECORD THEM AND GET YOURSELF AN ATTORNEY AND SUE THEM. YOU WILL GET 1000 FOR EACH VIOLATION

Keep getting calls/voicemails from "Mr. Bruce stating my attorney or I need to get in touch with him regarding a "legal matter" even gives a "case number". Its funny because before he starts his voice mail he let's a long "huuuh".

Got a call at 8 am from 813-262-0135 with SafetyEquip on the caller ID. "Iris" said that she was calling about a credit card that I had with a balance of$500 and wanted to know how I was going to pay today. HAHAHA. right. Sure, heres my bank info. Not only do I not have the card, I have the letter stating the debt was paid in full 5 years ago. Beware! This is is fishing collection agency!

No answer.

i received a call from this MIG and associates concerning a collection of a bill from about 7- 9 years ago that when i was younger didn't pay. she harassed me about paying the bill before they seek a legal route. she said she was a  partner and her name was " Mrs. Jones "  then when i asked for her first name she said she goes by " L jones or i'm also known by Kelly jones " sounded fishy. after that i hung up the phone and haven't heard from them since last week when they first called. usually as i thought if u have an outstanding bill that goes into collection it should affect your credit and be on your credit report, this however has not done a thing to either one, they are just a pushy collections agency trying to get money by scaring people to pay. Ignore them and they may call again but don't give out any information because they really didnt have too much info on me and the more they know the more problem calls they can give you.

I got a call from the same group and I asked that they send me something in writing or a statement.  They said that they done' do that.... Has anyone dealt with them and what has happend?

Woman called asking how my wife was going to take care of a large debt on an HSBC credit card. I told her she has never had such a card. The woman countered with is this XXXX Vine Street? I said no and she hung up. I looked in our local telephone book and found a woman with the same name as my wife living there. It seems to me that a professional debt collector would have done her "homework" and called the correct number. Hummmm!

Sounds like a scam people - beware - your caller id shows 1 number - but they give you a different number to call back- escpecially fisshy is the one whose id came up with a different business - check out this site - there are all sorts of scams going on.

I have been receiving calls from the 813-574-0106 number and since I could not send them a payment nor did they send me any information from their company now they are saying that I need to get a lawyer.And they also go by MIG and Associates.

Receiving harrassing calls asking that myself or my attorney call them back regarding a file.

Received a call from 8135740106 requesting that myself or my attorney will need to call them back regarding a file and this person provided me with a file number but did not say what it is reagarding.

Received a call from this number today.  The caller ID came up as SafetyEquipmentCo but the caller left a message that they were from MIG Capitol.  She requested that my attorney call them back.  Sounds fishy to me.
