Collections company are required to state company name. So he is going about this all wrong. But it did make me look at my credit and saw my ex has been screwing with my ss#. So thanks Bob!

this is a collection company for (at least in my case) a crappy apartment that we had signed the lease on and then they showed us gave us our keys (to a different unit) and the place was TRASHED. I told them that we weren't staying there and we wanted released from our lease. Long to short of it: Found a different place. They sent me to collections even though I never spent a single night there.
This collections company is full of morons and you have to be tough with them to get them to cut through the crap.

I called the number back and it's a female's voice saying she's Bob Ketler and she will call back if I leave a message. Bob left a message and is a male, he also stated he had a decision to make weather I called back or not. Did NOT state what company he worked for or even why he was calling...Sound like a Scam...

Bob is an a-hole. First time he called I asked who he was, what company he's calling from & what the call was regarding. He wouldn't answer my questions without repeatedly demanding to know if he'd reached the right party & since I wasn't satisfied w/ that I told him whoever he's looking for was unavailable. He then demanded to know why I needed to know his information before "deciding that person was unavailable" to which I replied that of course I wanted to know since I don't recognize the # calling me. He told me what I just said was IRRELEVANT so I told him I don't deal with rude people on the phone & hung up! After I calmed down I decided to call back to find out what he'd wanted, he informed me it was a debt owed to my old apartments, I told him I wanted to confirm that with them first & he told me they'd just refer me back to him so "good luck with that" & give him a call once I was done "wasting time avoiding my debt" then he hung up on me! I did confirm a missed payment to my apartments they had tried to inform me of in writing at an old address but if he's the only person I get to talk to at that agency I'm not paying him a dime! I work in collections & we DO NOT threaten, hang up on, or insult the people we call! Also he tricked me into confirming my current address by stating the apartments sent a letter there, which I stated I'd never received, only to realize after I'd hung up on him the first time they wouldn't even have had because I didn't move here until 2 months after I last talked to them! I'm sure he used a process called Skip Tracing to get my address but you ask a person to confirm addresses, not make false statements then wait for a customers reaction. Shame on him and shame on the company he works for. They give the rest of us polite, understanding collectors a bad name.

They call me everyday on my cell phone with the same crap!  I have a decision to make, I will make it with or w/out your approval!

Received a call from 8132834510 from a David Hines who said he needed to speak with me and was making a decision by the end of the day but would like to speak with me on the matter before making the decision.  He didn't offer up any information on what company he was with or what this was concerning, and I will not be calling back.

Curious...have you had anymore dealings with this caller?

I got a call from this number, just like the other posts are saying.  Very vague and mildly threatenting. He hooks you because he says a "decision will be made with or withour your callback", but leaves it completely open ended.  So, like an idiot, I called back and left a VM.  Weird thing was the message was of a female's voice, not the guy who called.  At any rate, I went on here and now see who this j*** off is, so am not going to return the call anymore.  Collections "professionals" are legally required to notify you in writing that your account has been turned over to them.

This guy wouldn't stop talking over me and he was being a real F$#k Head. I tried to explain my side and he was like, I will make a decision for you if you don't comply. The charges in question are about a property i cannot believe is still in business. Prestonwood Apartments. They let you move into a sh4t hole and charge you for it later. Bob and the apartments can go to HELL.

same exact call to my google number.  I have excellent credit and just bought a home.  he even called one of my best friends asking for me? how the heck did he get her number?  this is soo bazzar.  his schpeel was exactly the all the others an urgent message and the need to contact me or a decision would be made with or with out me.  BAZZAR

thanks for posting this info.  i don't bother speaking to collection agencies over the phone, it's a waste of time.  not that i have any after me but might due to a divorce.  the best thing to do is wait until you get something in the mail and, state in writing that you will not communicate verbally over the phone and that they must contact you in writing.  it's your legal right.  after which, they must communicate with you via snail mail.

oh yes, he told me he had a decision to make one way or another by the end of the day on one message he left me.  i don't answer calls i don't recognize.

I'm getting continuous calls from this Bob Kettler, same number as above and also got a woman's voice who said to leave a message.  who is this guy?  i live in GA.  his messages are...please call me as soon as possible, it's important that i speak with you, please give me the courteousy of calling me back.  as far as i'm concerned this guy is getting blocked!

They guy who called me with similar message said he is "Bob Shepparly" or something like that. Said he had a decision to make and wanted to speak with me before making the decision. Said he would make the decision whether or not I returned his call. Pleasant  tone. Said he hoped to speak with me today. If this is a collection agency, I have no idea why.

This guy named Bob Kettler (sp?)  just called and left me a voice mail message. Didn't state who he was with, what it was in reference to, only that he would be "making a decision with or without my return phone call. This is NOT good business. Not someone that I would even consider calling back. There are too many "freaks" out there trying to steal info, identities, and stalk people. Thankfully, I have the message in my Google Voice mailbox. I am a straight up kind of person and I expect people to be straight up with me. Vague messages, and idle threats won't cut it with me!

I recieved a phone call from this man Bob looking for my dead father, who has been dead for 5 years. I told him that  I was tired of getting these call over my dad. then he got nasty and said I was  rude and I hug up on him.

I got a message from the same guy.  Know your rights: All collection agencies are required to tell you that they are trying to collect a debt, and they are also required to notify you in writing no more than 5 days after trying to contact you by phone.  They are also not allowed to make false statements. Any threats made are considered harassment.

I got a call today too, sounded like Bob Kepler, he said he had an important decision to make today, that he would make with or without my call back, No company name is mentioned. The odd thing is he called both my cell and house phone- the posts here say this is a collection agency- I have no bad debt. I pulled my credit bureau too, just to make sure I wasn't a victim of identity theft or something, and there is nothing on there.

I too got a msg from Bob Kettler saying he "has called several times and would at least like the courtesy of a call back". He also said he would "make his final decision with or without a return phone call". First off, I've never received a call from him before. The tone of his msg was impatient and annoyed. Having no idea who he was, I looked up the phone # he left and discovered this site. Apparently this is his usual sh-peel.

If you live in Texas the Austin area the number that they will contact you from is 512-456-598. Their website is http://www.hunterwarfield.com/v20/. They are an extremely aggressive collections agency with employees that ask a lot of personal questions and tend to try to argue with you as to why you have been unable to repay your debt. Bob Kettler is the employee that has called from this number and when you call back it does go to a females voice stating that Bob is unavailable. Bob has on numerous occasions gotten into verbal arguments with my fiance and tends to come off very threatening. Hope this helps.

I have a friend that is getting calls from this number.  Person calling is David Heine or Hines or Hind,  and also Bob Kettler.   Numerous calls.   This is some kind of fraud.

Called and left a message in a (GUY) voice. Name Bob Kettler says he needs to ask me a question but he is making his decision with or with out my phone call return?? but never said what hes even calling about!! And my first time hearing about him! So i called back and It goes straight to voice mail...a (WOMAN) voice now saying she is bob kettler wtf!!
