I got called by the same number today, Steve Dale. Thanks everyone for posting this, I didn't even call him back!!!

Glad I read this posting. I just dodged a call from Steven Dale who left a very generic message on my phone. No company name given or any details.

I received the same phone call today, can your report it to anyone?

They are a ligitimate collection agency. However they are very rude and unprofessional, I spoke with Steve Dell, Jerry Crabill and Rick Stoltz. I was trying to pay my bill and was treated like $#!# the owner should be ashamed of himself Steven Sobota.

Hey sent me an email sayin I'd been givin 800.000.00 dollars from som one iv never meet before w**ker I'm not that stupid

Called left rude and unclear message.

Called me today & right away said "this call is being recorded". I told him I too was recording the call. He freaked out & ask why? I said why not? Something about a lease I co-signed for and the lease was broken not by choice but due to severe financial problems. He calls me and threatens me that he has not contacted the credit agencies as YET. I told him, contact them, He hung up. There are proper ways to contact a creditor that are with in the law. He needs to do his legal homework first, or he can have the book of law thrown at him.

A co-worker has a husband who is a cop who gave some advice, just wanted to pass it on.  DO NOT give this guy ANY information and call your bank and ask them to put fraud watches on your accounts.  Even if you don't call him back, it's concerning that he has your first and last name, as well as your phone number.

Received 2 calls from Steve Dale.  First was a message saying he needed to make a decision with or without me.  2nd no message.

Don't give that guy or that company any of your information, definitely don't pay them.  They are a scam/ripoff company posing as a collection agency.  It is disgraceful that some businesses and companies use them or basically let them buy old debts for pennies on the dollar.  Write a cease and desist letter to them.  Sue them if they continue to harass you or try hurting your credit.  I am an attorney and I have had a few clients complain about him and the company Hunter Warfield and the illegal methods they use to get people to pay them and how they still try to get money out of you if you already paid.  If you have any legitimate debts, pay the original place that you owe the money to, never pay a debt collector under any circumstance.

Don't give him or that company(Hunter Warfield) a dime, they are unethical.  Contact a attorney/lawyer and write a cease and desist letter, if they keep calling or try to do something with your credit sue them.

Same as everyone above, message from Steven Dale or something saying we had to "touch base" and gave me his number, but never where he was calling from or what it was about. Not bothering to call him back so no advice how to deal if you actually speak to him.

he wont stop calling me.  How did he get our numbers? Why us? What do we all have in common? I don't like him having my number. I've never answered his calls but he left me one message and it was short he tried to make it seem like he knew me or I knew him.

I just got a call from this number from a Steve Dale or Dell, in Tampa, Fl. Left a very unprofessional message, short and no company name. I am not going to call back.

A man saying to be Steven Dale. Very nasty on the phone and wont send billing info wants payment immediatley and will not take payments. Another man that works with him David unsure of last name very rude on the phone.. hangs up on you. Screams at you on the phone.

Steven Dale had just called me concerning an apartment that I had for my daughter.  She did move out early and broke the lease.  When he first called I was trying to have him repeat the information to me and told him that my daughter was going to be taking care of this.  He said that he was not going to talk to my daughter for this account was in my name.  He had alot of my information so apparently he did a credit check on me for he knew of some of my personal loan companies that I have.  He also ask me when I had last got paid and when do I get paid again.  He also knew that I have direct deposit with my bank too.   Now I am wondering if I should go change my bank account for I am nervous of him asking and having my informtion that I did not even give to him.

Got a call from this guy myself.  Leaves a voicemail, but does not say where he is calling from or why he is calling.  Is he legit?

I received a similar message and am notifying my state's attorney general.

I received a message from Steve Dell stating that he needed to speak with me.  I did not call him back.

I don't know how he got my cell number.  Very rude man.  I'm glad I talked to my co-worker and she told me to google his number/name.  I'm wondering if this has anything to do with the apartment complex called "___ _____"  in Margate/Coconut Creek area?   Just wondering if they are the people involved some how.

Dude called my phone and left the same message!  I googled just the area code because I thought it was one of those foreign calls that charge you hundreads of dollars per/sec.  So it popped up as a Tampa number and my sister lives there so I call...no company name or anything.  I asked for a more detailed explination of the matter....weird.  I googled his name with the area code and saw this...a bit too late.  I'm all the way in Cali...what the heck!

Steven Dale or Dell? Very nasty on the phone. Refuses to send out any billing information. Wants credit card number. Really??? Too much identity theft to fall for this one. Says he is debt collector, but refuses to send out debt notices.

Yup, I just got a call from Steve Dell or Dale or whatever you wana call him. It freaked me out a little but that was when research was done and I found out that, ummm hey this guy isnt for real! Please people do not call back this guy and give any of your info out! This is when I start to think about the elderly people that probably just call him back without any hesitation and quite possibly give him the information he needs! PLEASE DO NOT CALL HIM BACK! IT IS FAKE! who leaves this nerve racking message on your phone with your full name and leaves ONLY his name and number. He doesnt give any of his info out so why would we give ours out!? Dumbass!

Just got a call from him.  If he thinks that I am going to call him back over a "decision" that he will make with or without my call---FORGET IT!!!

That man is bitter Tard...hahaha... Steven Dell just called me and left the same message. He is rude but owell, Karma is a MOTHA... How do you expect someone to give you their personal information when you are rude to them and hang up? By the way...an FYI, being a bill collector is one of the few jobs a criminal can get with their background so becareful.

I told him I wasn't giving him anything until I find out what the heck is going on.then he hung up. Do he like report to a credit bureau or something?

called me then my husband a minute later with the same vague message.  No name of a company until my husband called back.  Said we didn't make a payment for a place we used to live (6 MONTHS AGO!) I went back and found the proof that we did.  It would have been ALMOST legit if he would have left his company on the voicemail, used the same last name for both voicemails and didn't talk about the "decission" that had to be made.  Pretty annoying.  I'm glad I found this website!
