These people called to get ownership's personal information, ss#, home address, date of birth, drivers license #, then business information, FIN#, business sales, address, they wanted scanned images of a corporate check, personal guarentees on credit card processing equipment, etc.  Clearly we did not provide, but they were very persistent with our clerical staff first, then next level, then next level.  In an effort to collect information from them, we requested they send a questionaire to us, with phone numbers, and email addresses.  We got this phone number and nothing else.  We asked for a representative to come by, but they were sorry they didn't have any reps nearby.  We asked where their closest office was, which they said was in Baltimore, but they were sorry that location was closed.  We asked them why they didnt already have information in thier files for us, and they explained that their out of state "Home Office" didn't relay that information to them due to the "Privacy Act".  People beware!  

People are rude when you tell them , Pleade i don't want to talk to you they told me the way don't you change your number, I don't want to receive calls from this number.

We have been getting calls 3 to 5 times a week from EMS, they always hang up on us and never give any information. Very rude and I have asked them over and over to stop calling.

phone number 1-866 397 8093 has been calling me 3/4 times a day, even on weekends, I am so sick of this so yesterday when I looked at caller display and saw it was them, I grabbed the phone in a fury and yelled WHAT DO YOU WANT !! someone said my name and again I yelled WHAT DO YOU WANT, the woman said in quite and offended tone of voice, "we are calling people between the ages...............That was as far as she got I literally screamed at her to LEAVE ME ALONE and hung up, these constant calls have my nerves in tatters.  I cannot afford $100.00 to get a digitone call blocker and I should not have to, I have a list of 4 numbers beginning with 1 416, 1 289,1 813 and 1 866, Is there no help out there?

Caller asked to speak to my wife(who is at work) regarding her "business".  He knew that she is an LPN who does home health care but did not know that it's only a secondary job to her.  I told him she/we were not interested in anything they had to offer and he became very snotty and rude and TOLD me I couldn't speak for her and he would talk to her personally...  Simply put?  He was a total JERK!

Kept comparing my business to all the others in my area--there aren't others in my area.  Bad sales technique--kept talking and talking without giving any info as to what service they provide--just wanted to set up an appt. After 4 minutes of the sales person rambling, I got in a 'no thank you' and she hung up on me.

a man called and said he was from EMS and wanted my web site address, then hung up.

Said they were EMS calling business like ours but they didn't really know who they were calling and would not answer direct questions. They hung up.

Break down and buy Digitone call blocker ... best 100 bucks I ever spent..  Blocks area codes and indiviual numbers like no other.. Block 888 800 out of area etc calls..  My phone only rings when it is someone I know.

This # has been calling our Business line everyday for months. At first when we answered the calls there was no one there. We would hang up the phone and get called back in seconds. Its very frustrating to run your Business with constant call that do nothing but waist our time. It would be amazing if BS ever stopped so we can conduct business normally. They are breaking federal laws. We need the calls to end. I only needed to answer a couple times to see its a total waist my time. The way I see it if they need to contact us they can us the damn postal system or E-mail. We need to Get On the Do Not Call list. They are interfering with our time to take customer call and earn a living. STOP CALLING US!!!!!!!!!

I have been getting calls from this number for months now on our business line... same deal I need the owner blah blah blah... I finally told them we are a corporate store run out of Ohio... haven't had a call in about 1 week!!! Hope this helps anyone that is being harrassed by these people!!! I to asked what it was about and they would NOT tell me under any circumstances!!! Bad bad bad!!!!!

We got a call from this number wamted us to take their plastic and drop ship today.  I replyed when the money is in the bank we would ship.

Just got the same exact call at our office. I also was polite and gave him the website address because I wasn't sure if he was a customer.

Call came from this number.  Man asked for my website but would not give any reasons as to why he wanted it.  I could not tell if he was a potential client or not so I was polite and gave it to him.  I still do not know the reason for his call but I am suspicious - especially after reading some of the above comments.
Is this a new type of sales call or what?

got a call from 813 289 4100, I have called them back now three times and asked to be removed from their list, each time i am told they will SEE what they can do. I reminded them many times that they are breaking federal laws, i also asked them to send me a copy of their Do Not Call Policy as proof that i have asked them not to call, again i got, "i will see what i can do.." this comp[any should not be allowed to do business >> Electronic Merchant Services << cant be doing legitimate business based on their business practices, and poor sales technique. BUYERS BEWARE!

EMS (Electronic Merchant Systems) of Tampa.  Said they had representatives in my area today.  Lady was really nice till I mentioned I looked them up on this website.  Then she just hung up.

Asked for "the owner". I replied "not in something I can help you with". He then replied "no see I need to speak to the business owner cuz-.....". And then hung up.

Asked to be put on their no-call back list - was given a number to call: 866-327-5391.  Called that number and the gentleman that answered said he was hotel and wasn't a tell-marketer.

Sue Clark from EMS ( Electronic Merchant Systems)of Tampa phoned. Please look them up on ripoffreport.com . Not only was her speech nearly unintelligible, she was also entirely uncooperative when I asked her what the call was regarding.
