got several calls starting at 0900 and 1900hrs.  answered twice, and there is no response!

I received 5 calls and when I try to call back, they are on 'do not disturb',   How rude can companies get?

This evening, around 7:45, I got a phone call from someone purporting to be from ?Florida Energy Program?, offering to do an energy analysis of my home. He may not have actually said it but the caller certainly implied that they were somehow affiliated with my utility.
Well, anyway, he was quite pushy and insisted that we schedule an appointment tomorrow. I asked for his company website and was told that it was ?under construction?. This seemed quite fishy to me so I googled the phone number (813-319-7088) and found a whole bunch of complaints. Now, I?m adding my own to the stack.

I got a call today and since it wasn't an "out of area" call, I picked up......nobody there after waiting about 2 secs.....now I know not to answer this again. and by the way....I have a Panasonic phone like described--->they are very nice with that way of being able to block calls....too bad there isn't a way to block more calls

You pay exorbitant costs for your phone and these b*****ds still get to annoy you.

received a call from them today also & am on the Do Not Call List. They hung up no message.The best investment I made recently is a Panasonic KX-TG9343S phone from Target for $85 (3 handsets) & allows you to block up to 20 numbers. The caller gets a busy tone & a hang up. You hear a very short ring. Wish I could block more than 20 for I am up to 15 already & it's been only a month. There are probably phones out there that allow more numbers to be blocked. But many have quit trying to get thru so will take them off when I need to add more.

There is no such thing as the DO NOT CALL LIST!!!!  Isn't that obvious from all these calls we are receiving?!  A recent report stated that it is too hard to go after these companies and that the largest fine ever given out by the court was only around $4000 and to date it has not been collected!  These callers will continue to harrass us and laugh in our faces.  We are being held prisoners in our own homes by our own phones!  SO SAD!

Got a call from them yesterday. When I told the woman to remove my telephone number from their calling list, she replied in a bright, cheery, phony voice, "Have a great day, ma'am." Only their number appeared on caller ID. I agree, what about the National Do Not Call Registry...these callers are just annoying. I'm going to add them to my call block list.

When I called the number back, I got a recording saying "the person you are calling has do not disturb activated and is not accepting calls at this time"

Allegiance Telecom is not the caller, they are the provider like Verizon is a provider of service.

I don't know who the true "calling" party is but they are very persistant, got 4 calls from them yesterday between 200pm and 900pm.
A year or so ago I kept getting calls like this from a number in California and they would not stop calling. I contacted the provider and asked them if they could do something to stop calls coming from that number, before I contacted the FCC with a formal complaint, as I had told them repeatly to stop calling. Last call I ever got from that number was one day after I contacted the provider to complain. Sometimes you just have to go around by the "side door" method to get things done.

True that they offer to come out and do a free energy assessment.  They stated to me that because of recent activities the utility companies will have to purchase energy at a much higher cost.  Because of this they have been asked to come out and do a free walk thru with customers of the utility company.  I said ok I'd be interested and at this point I was turned over to a supervisor to set up a date and time.  It was at this point that the supervisor informed me that they were not affiliated with any of the utilities and were just offering this service as a way to help go GREEN.  After discussing this further, I told her it was under handed and misleading and that she better coach her employees about committing fraud by deception by misleading a potential client on the fact that they are working with the utilities and the State of Florida.  BTW, I'm on the National Do Not Call List.  I don't understand what kind of fines these jokers are assessed, but I get way too many calls from unknown and out of area calls everyday.  Being that they're on a demon dialer, I just hit on and off.  That's good until the next day. Should be able to just enter a telephone # on a data base and let the Nt'l do not call people handle this crap.

Best way to deal with these types of calls is to file a formal complaint with the FCC when the calls persist.

got this call today...it was a male, not female.  tried to call back and it states that there is a "do not disturb" placed on the number.  the number was 813-319-7088.

Calls from this number.  This woman is NOT friendly which is ironic since she is calling our number. Will HANG UP on you. Asked her on th FOURTH call not to call back again, her reply was "Oh, Whatever."

But my question is: What ever happened to Do Not Call?

They are selling solar under the guise that they want to come by no obligation to do an energy audit. I doubt you will get them to leave your house without buying. They keep calling. . I told them I wasn't interested yesterday. They called back this morning.

The real company is ALLEGIANCE TELECOM OF FLORIDA, but they give you a name like it's an energy not for profit or similar.

Got another call, looks like they're persistent.  I don't answer if I don't know who it is, thank gooness for caller ID, don't know what I'd do without it.
