Caller is using a spoofed number.  Wants information about current energy costs and do an energy audit inside my home.
Not gonna happen.   Could be telemarketer or scammer.  Likely a scammer with use of spoofed number.

Called our mid-fl landline at 11.49a on 6/25/14. No msg was left, caller id is V followed by twelve random numbers, the clear mark of a scammer.

caller wants personal information and info about our electric bill. from all the posts on this website and others, these people are SCAMMERS. They are using spoofed number.  Legitimate people do not need to use SPOOFED numbers. other phone numbers with the exact  same scam are: 727-216-3238 and 813-472-9580

Multiple calls from this number. Caller ID: Seffner, FL. No message ever left.

Called our mid-fl landline at 11a on 6/24/14.  They left no msg, so no attempt to communicate.  Caller id is Seffner FL.  This is a repeat call to our phone.

They called me this morning and said she wanted to talk about TECO since bill is going up.  She said she reviewed my account and wanted to give some energy saving information.  Then asked me if I pay more than $125 per month on electric.  I said to her that if she had my account info she should know that and she hung up.  

Keep getting calls from this number, I am in Tampa, and they never leave a message.
Most times unknown, but this morning it came through with a very odd ID of V60209412700009, I never answer due to scams running rampant in this area.
I also get calls from 727 HVAC as well, it's pretty annoying.
I will never answer these calls, so if you're reading these forums, scammers, you're wasting your time, we are all on to you!!!

Caller wanted to know about my energy cost.
this is  not the first time they called

Yes, it's a scam, after a year of nuisance calls, I met with them. Rep. came to my home. Was a total shyster, the guise is they want a showcase home to install their gear. You pay around 10 grand up front and get so called federal rebates / tax rebates. Of course you will never qualify, furthermore, the amount saved via the solar collector would take over a decade to break even.
Report them to the phone company and police.

Received call from this number. The "Name" associated with the number on the caller ID was "V51510461300009". A woman asked if I was the home owner and if I was prepared for the new energy rate increase. She said a representative would come out to my home free of charge and provide an "analysis".

I asked "Are you affiliated with TECO?" She said no we are independent of any electric company. I asked for the name of her company, she said "Alternative Solutions". I asked what was in it for them since nothing is free and they are not being paid by TECO? She said something to effect of it being an awareness program, I asked are they trying to SELL me something. She responded "Whatever you decided to do with our recommendations is up to you. I said no thanks. She became rude and asked "Why".  I said told her I was not familiar with her company and was not interested. Her reply was "ENJOY YOUR RATE INCREASE!" and hung up.

Caller left no msg. Have read on other sites that number is spoofed; appears to be local (Tampa, FL) but could be from anywhere. Caller ID is a bunch of numbers, no name: V41410150800002.

Called our mid-fl landline at 9.11a on 4/11/14.  No msg is ever left, and caller id reads Seffner  FL.  Spammer for sure, but what brand I don't know.

Got a call from this number, "unknown", and they left no message.
I get a call frequently from an HVAC with a 727 area code, I think that is Pinellas county, they never leave a message either.
I am so sick of these calls, the DO NOT CALL list is useless.

Got calls from this number. They set up appt to come Monday and looked this number up and found it is a scam.tried to call back to cancel and number is not available. Guess I will. Not answer the door when they show up. Should have looked this up first.

Received this call and was listed as UNKNOWN.  Woman was calling about my electric bill going up.  Tried to schedule a technician to come out and give me an energy check.  I said "I don't want anyone in my house that I did not call first".  She was rude and said "Enjoy your energy rate increase".  This is a scam because I tried to call back to find out what company this is and it was not listed.

2 calls so far, using 813 area code which is Tampa, FL area. Female addressed me by name. First time I listened until she got to part about electrics going up 14%, then wanted info! I hung up.

Second call, same #, asking if power bill runs over $100. When I commented about this being a telemarketing call, she disconnected.

Rcvd 2 calls from this number..did not answer either one. they left no msg.

Some kind of energy useage scam.  Caller is using a spoofed number.  Do not pick up.

We received this call today, 2/27/14 at 11:59am.   The caller ID said, "Unavailable" and the number.  Caller was a woman
wanting personal information as well as specific information regarding our energy costs.  When we refused to give her
any information and advised her that the number on our caller ID was a SPOOFED NUMBER, the woman hung up.
We have recently received other phone calls supposedly wanting information about our energy costs.  The other
phone numbers from which we have received these "energy" requests are:  813-472-9580  and 727-216-3238.
