this number called me 2 times today without leaving a message. the third time, my wife picked the phone up and a lady, Monica would like to talk to me. but i was absent. what is this number? is it a company or a particular person?

they call me about 10 times this week

Same as the rest. Got a call saying that we had won a trip for two to Orlando through Universal Studios.  Car rental, tickets and then 4 days in Daytona. I feel so stupid. I gave them my credit card info but my card in at it its limit so they could not process it. The call caught me totally off guard. My daughter was not feeling well and I was not fully paying attention to the call.  Plus we have been going through a lolt lately and it just seemed like some welcomed happy news. I feel very stupid.  I hope they can not take make info and use it in the future??

I JUST got the exact same call everyone is talking about.  As I was on the phone with "Jasmine - operator #7497" I was researching this online at the same time!  I have no idea how these people even got my information?!  She said I filled out my information online but she refused to tell me which website I filled it out on.  I told her I did not do such a thing and I have no idea how she even got my information.  She said she I had won a trip to Orlando Florida for 4 days 3 nights, with 2 Star Passes, $500 in spending money and then 4 days 3 nights in Daytona Beach, and I was allowed to bring a 2 guests if I chose to.  Then she said "Doesn't that sound great Donna?"  I paused and didn't sound too happy and just said,"oookayyy" and she said "do you want the trip or not?" and i just said "nope." and hung up...Bi*** was so rude!

first time the bi*** called me she said she was Tiffany, then the 10th time i think she forgot she already called so she called herself Terry.  same thing, trip to universal, a cruise, day passes to the park, etc...  ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THIS!!:  I only filled out ONE thing on the internet and then i started getting these calls.  its this thing on facebook for this game called Rock Legends.  You can get more "street cred" if you do these things, fill these things out, i did it to a few of them, got my "street cred" and then the same day started getting these calls.  if anyone else did this, THAT is where it comes from, someone take that bi*** down.  for sure.

One hour ago got a call saying we won a trip, all details of the call identical to Mike's comments above. They had my correct address and managed to have me give my email address before they asked for my Expiry date on my Visa. I refused multiple times and she finally said she would give trip to someone else, I said fine and hung up.

this is all reading EXACTLY like the call I JUST got in Ontario Canada.  Very persistant, even when I told her my mc would not cover that amount she still wanted the info.  I finally told her to give the trip to someone else, as I would not be accepting it, or anything else from her.  I hung up on her!

yes,I am from canada and I am also a facebook user and got the same call that i had one a trip to florida. but i hung up when they wanted my credit card number

i have somebody called me from Florida~~~ for a few weeks, but it's always buzzing while I picked up the phone. Now today~Some guy name Rene (wasn't that the gayest name ever...I thought) . Inform me that I have won a trip to Orlando.

I said I didn't enter any contest. He then told me "oh it won't be a scam, why are we phoning long distance?" (Let me think....because it only cost you about $1, but $498 on me?) He said he will call back if it's not the best time. I just want to hang up the phone.... then he starts talking for about 20 mins. Please...his voice is shaking.

Then I got transfered to a older lady name Kay. I said I need to see an agent, or some paper work, otherwise I won't give her my credit card #. She got inpatient, rude and angry, starts demanding my number. I kept saying no. She starts to ask me what's the difference between giving them the # than giving it to a travel agent (....hello~I could talk to a travel agent face to face), I start to yell, then she hanged up.

How do they sleep at night...

30mins call, wander how much that's gonna cost me, hopefully they don't call back ever.

Received a couple of these calls, from 374-0162 as well, the guy told me he wanted to speak with Rona, which is my fake alias when I fillup crap on the net, so it was sure it was a scam since he didnt have my real name... I told him that I would hung up cause it's costing me long distance, and hung up...  since then they call me 3x everyday... how can I make it stop?!?!???

Same for me, just unbelievable, any suggestions ...

I got the same call here in Ottawa and they wanted to have my credit info as well, not sure about this but did not get very far with me even if tempting.

I too have been receiving calls from this # (813) 374-0166...i have not answered yet and i won't now!

i had recieved about 4 missed calls from this number. When I finally answered I knew something was up and became upset over the mention of my credit card. They hung up when i asked too many questions. Called back again and again. ihave recieved 6 phone calls in the past 10 minutes after I freaked out. they were offerening me a trip for 2 to Florida with all these hotel accomodations and car rental etc.

haven't answered, don't know anyone from florida. however, I have had calls from this number and some of the others listed above.

Hey guys, I've been getting the same calls, 5 times today. I WON a trip to Flordia,He said I qualified for a 7 day 6 night trip to Orlando, rental car, dinner cruise, free passes to the parks etc... I was sure it was a scam, but I do enter online contests for trips sometimes, so I let him continue.  I asked if I'd be getting something in writing, and he said yet.  He said I'd need to pay $249 per person fee, so $498 would be charged to my credit card.I called the park, reported it to them... I tryed to get them to stop.. I swore @ them, yelled freaked.. they just keep going.  AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

I went and did this ONline survey as well.... the #'s i got were  1-813-374-0159  this time his name was Cody # 0504
They have called me x2 the other day, i told them not interested.  then again they called next day x2 i still stated not interested and Hung up/.  then they called again x2  i didnt answer. then they called back again and my husband answered and basically challenged them stating it wasnt a win if we had to Pay 248.oo per person.. they said it was because it was over 2000.00 for the trip.  he placed the phone down and then said Is your wife there?? he said No.  then they were asking him all these random questions to keep him on the phone, he kept putting the phone down and the person "coady" said they would wait... DUHHH!!  so finally.. my husband just hung up the phone.. b/c coady didnt get the hint. not 2 mins later the phone rang again.. it was them.. we didnt answer.  then the phone rang again this time, No name and # it was blocked... they go as far to as to block the #.... do they think were that Stupid??  so if they call again, i will make myself perfectly clear.. and bring a battle of wits with someone who is unarmed.... Nothing worse than PPl who dont get the hint!!

Just by chance is everyone here getting these calls like myself a FaceBook user.I think thats where my trouble with them started.The voice on the other end of the phone sounded very young too.

My mom yelled at the lady today and eventually just hung up.
if they call back, I am going to answer and tell them that I am under the age of 18 and do not have a credit card. if they ask for my parents I am going to say they died.

OMG I have had the same problem for the last week. I hung up last night, said I didn't want the prize, and they still called 5 times so far today. Crazy.  they had my name and date of birth, but had my marital status wrong and the wrong email, and then wanted my visa #.  I knew it was a scam and am somewhat relieved to find this site with the same complaints.  When I asked where he was calling from I got "I'm calling from FLOORRRIDDDA" said in the voice of a game show announcer.  I asked what company and he just gave me the same answer. Sooooo annoying.  Planning on having some fun with them next time they call....

I've been getting the same calls too, I found this website, they called me back so I played along to see how far they'd go.  I gave wrong info along the way.  She said I was a preferred Visa card holder, I said No I don't have a Visa and got "Oh sorry it must be Mastercard" Hmmm yeah, must be. They hung up on me when I said that I googled their phone #'s and there are not so nice things written about what a scam and fraudulent company they are and that if they EVER called me again I would call the police.  Then they hung up on ME, how dare they hang up on me!!

Hi. I found this site after looking on the internet for similar scams to mine. I decided to enter the phone number in and this is what popped up. Anyway, they just called me and told me I won a 7 days 6 nights trip to Orlando, Florida. I would be getting a rental car to either drive down in or I could fly there and pick up the car at the airport. She went on to tell me that the package was valued at $2500+ and there was also a bonus prize. I received a 4 days 3 nights to Daytona Beach, Florida. She started to read off a piece of paper all these supposedly exciting things and then she threw in the whole $249 registration fee totalling to $498 which will be charged to my credit card. She then forwarded me to some other girl who started again to read something off a paper. When I confronted her and said "Yeah I'm not stupid and I don't want to give my credit card to you over the phone until I see the actual papers and stuff." She then told me "Oh well it's all legitimate etc" telling me I was protected by Visa and their fraud insurance etc. She claimed that they were a legitimate company working with Visa and entered my name into a random ballot for a trip etc. It's all b***s***, I'm not stupid! She started to get really frustrated with me and even said to me on the phone "(Name) get your credit card so we can secure this already!" and kept babbling about all these protection acts. When I confronted her about reading off a paper she became all defensive and started to get irrate with me. When she said that I pretty much said (pardon my use of language, I don't usually swear) "F.O. you stupid ignorant scammer, I'm reporting you along with your company to my credit card company and the police. Your parents must be really proud they raised a lying daughter. Good on ya!" and hung up. Be careful with b***s*** scams like this!

I just got a call from that number.... They called me at work!!!! I have no idea how they got my number! The first girl "Lucy" told me of how I had won this amazing vacation, she asked me to confirm my home address, which I stupidly did and then I was transferred to another girl that was demanding I tell her my credit card number. I told her that I didn't know the number and I was busy at work, and she said she would wait, as she gets paid by the hour, etc, etc.... I told her no, she got more ignorant..... TOTAL SCAM!!!!

My girlfriend entered my name online for a free vacation. I am going to print this off and show it to her so she will not be silly enough to do it again. They are pests and very persistent. I just kept hanging up day after day after day after day until they stopped calling...It took awhile but it worked.

The same patern... the Adrienne lady told me I won a trip for 2 in Florida to see disney and could bring 2 other persons... 7 days ansd nigts all ilimited... for only 249$ Since I'm from québec I didin't know if it was true or not... her code is 1464.When I told the other lady that I didin't have my credit card on me ( witch was true) she insited... and hung up on me!! gezz!

I got the same call just now from 813-374-0166 telling me that i completed an online ballot for a trip and that I won. The guys name was Kelvyn and he told me about my 7 days 6 nights trip for 2 if I paid $249 per adult, and could bring 2 more people for free.
I got transfered to a girl and They wanted my credit card # and when i told her that i didnt know where it was she was persisitant that I look for something with the information on it and she would wait. When i told her i really didnt know where it was she kept telling me that im covered under insurance and that they needed it to hold my reservations. I ended up having to hang up on her because she wouldnt shut up. Her name was Cassandra and she was a very perky thing.
I hope they dont start calling back...

Oh, by the way . . .I completed an on-line survey regarding winning a Disney trip/ Universal Studios Trip a couple days ago.  When they called they asked for me by nameso I figured they gotmy info from the survey.
