received a call and don't know who it is.

this company is not a scam they are an authorized dealer for adt they buy new home owner leads through the phone companies and and they call on a dialer .....hints why sometimes they dont answer right away or have trouble hearing this company is a good company they protect many homes and families ......people i know there are many scams out there but if you do better research like maybe call adt and ask if they are an authorized dealer you will find out they aren't out to get you or scam you out of money some companies are relly trying to help people out in times of need and give people peace of mind ..................you shouldn't get mad at them for calling to help protect you ,your home ,and your family .............get mad at the phone companies and cable companies for selling your numbers and info out ..................

I had the same thing happen to me the first call was a guy who said he couldnt hear me and said he would call back, but i hung up on him. So, the number called back again and now this time it was a woman and asked for my fiancee and i said he wasnt here and said okay then she immeditely hung up.  Now they called the next day and my finacee was home he picked up(it was the woman) and apparently they are a home security system with Comacast(well known phone, internet, and digital cable service where i live) and they wanted to come and install it for free.  Now that is suspicious, when did Comcast come out with there own security system?  Also, when does comcast call out of Tampa, FL(is what the caller id on my phone said)?

I received a call from this number and they told me they would protect my home with an ADT monitored alarm system for only $99.  I've been thinking about getting an alarm system because my neighbor had their home broken into.  This company came out and put the alarm system in my home and now my home and family are safe.  I've read the above complaints but all i can say is good things about this company.  they even gave my wife a free remote for our alarm system and everyone was nice and professional from the first person who called me to the gentlemen who came to our home and installed the alarm system.  I looked online at adt.com and seen the same thing for $299 at a higher monitoring rate.  I am one very satisfied customer, and yes i confirmed that i am being protected by ADT.

I received a call last night from this number claiming they were confirming an appointment to install security at my home today.  I emphatically denied having requested this service.  However, today an inquiry was made on my credit report.  The company name was Secure Tech, however the number listed on my credit was not in service.  I just happened to have had the number in my call log.

Just got a strange call from this number so i googled it. Caller said Hello then said he had a bad connection and could not hear me. He called back but when I said hello no one responded so I hung up.

Got a call just now from this number. They claimed I qualify for a free ADT Home Security system. I said, "I don't own a home" and they hung up. They've called several times, usually I don't get a response when I say Hello.

Some black chick Shiqutia from "ADT home sercurity systems... are you kidding me...

They did not leave a message when I did not answer. Tried a few online sources to investigate. This is the first site that has a record of the number. I called it back and the message said. "Sorry the party you are trying to reach is not accepting calls at this time, please try again later".
If this really is a scam ,and it has been documented as a "true" scam, then why hasn't our tax dollars been used creatively to stop it? Hmmm nice protection huh?

got a call form this number....nobody on the line....put it on my embarq blocked list

This number has been reported to the authorities as a fraud scheme. The caller lied about who they were, stating they were Brinks Home Security. I have contacted both Brinks and the Federal authorities and they are investigating the issue.

A woman called me from this number today, talking about how I filled something out on line (which I don't do that kinda junk) to get free ringtones (I don't believe that either). Then she asked if I owned my home, etc..........you know the spiel. I told her I didn't own/rent and she said good luck, then hung up.

I know it might not do anything now. But I had put my name and phone on the National Do Not Call Registary awhile back. When this number called I had file complaint just for showing of history of complaint against these scams.

Just received a call from this number. Under the name of Secure Tech Dir. at the time of 9:22am. I answered regularly. No response, that I answered in spanish, saying "Hoyla?" That got a response. A woman answered saying hello then went quiet and then hung up. I was hoping to get more information from them,  And let them know I am on a no-call list.
