I received a call from this number.  Something about winning a holiday to Florida. Not sure if it is a prank call.  Please can you confirm if this is a legitimate call

I have received a call about winning a holiday for four to florida.  I'd also like to know if this is ligit? Or of course if this is a scam.

floridaresortholidays.phoned us early one sunday am. spoke to four different people who all identified themselves etc. this call was follow up from being told I was 1,000,000th visitor to this site,( cc.covers). on phone for hour & a quarter, explaining our "win" of holiday to the bahamas etc. We had to decide then if we wanted to take advantage of this offer & to pay 998 us dollars, which was deducted from our account immediatly.($AU 1120.00).Have received follow up E'mail, but the promised vouchers did not arrive we E'mailed them to advise non arrival of same. Following morning," Raymond" telephoned to advise that they had been sent about one hour earlier. He said to allow up to 24 hours for E'mail to arrive, other wise get back to him. After 30 hours we sent off an E'mail (24th Dec.) and have heard nothing since.

I had a call from Florida Resort Holidays who said my wife had won a free trip to Orlando 7days 6nights then she gave them our credit card mumber and $500US was taken from our account whist she was still on the telephone.My wife spoke to Curtis and two other people gave her christian names. This first appeared on Facebook and was verified during the phone call.

i received exactly the same phone call today.i never but never give out my detailes over the phone/ what posessed me to do so today, i dont know/ alarm bells went off ,but to late i tried saying i didnt wish to pay any money today,but it was to late they wouldnt let me retract transaction.i got straight on to the computer,and bingo,what do i see scam,so i rang my credit company,they told me i wasnt the first.the money had already been taken out.so naturaly i cancled my card.and yes i did receive an email from,the company mentioned,with comformation details.i guess thats the last ill be hearing from them.

I recived a phone call on 19th april saying I had won a holiday to florida next thing I no my credit card had been charged of £226 iv tried to contact them via email sevral times and yet no reply ive also tried to phone them but the number they have is not reconised.
