This is Thanksgiving Day and at 9:30am I receive a call from "Officer Willie" stating I was under investigation to
go to the police dpt. OR call 813-408-5230.  I was concerned-googled the phone number and as I suspected
a scam-NOT GOOD. Don't fall for the cm.

I got a call from the same number today claiming to be federal agent Johnson and  that they were issuing a warrant for my arrest for fraudulent activity with my ssn unless i paid them 1178.91 at that time!i googled the number and found you guys! Complete scam!

A man with an Indian accent called one of my employees at work telling him he was being charged with bank fraud for not paying back a payday loan. He was told he would be arrested at work if he didn't turn himself in. The next day I answered a phone call from Special Agent Johnson of the Justice Department stating he needed to speak to my employee right away. I told him the employee was not working that day and he left the number 813-408-5230 asking me to give my employee this urgent message. The next day we Googled this number and found out it was a scam! I received another call from Special Agent Johnson and told him I knew this was a scam and that he could NOT speak to my employee. He asked me if I could "come here and suck my d@#k?" I immediately hung up on him and confirmed that this is most definitely a scam!!

This is a SCAM to extort monies from hard working Americans!!!  It happened to a friend of mine and she made the mistake of believing them and sent the $2,100.00 for a debt to a payday loan she may or may not have gotten.  They will threaten you with issuing a warrant for your arrest if you do not pay by the close of business the day of their call.  DO NOT FALL FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!!  IT IS A HUGE SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today, 10/28/13 at 9:53am, I received a call - from a number I did not recognize.  They left a voice message claiming they were the Arizona State Police and I was part of an on-going investigation involving fraudulent activity and that I MUST CALL (813) 408-5230 and speak to Federal Agent Johnson.  SCAM, SCAM, SCAM.  This is the 4th voice message I've received (and kept) since August 15, 2013.  I did apply for a loan online back in August, which is a major concern for me now ...... guess our information isn't so safe after all.  How sad :(

I got a call from this number 8134085230 the caller identified himself as a detective Watson with the Arizona state police and left a message with my employer stating that my name and ss number were involved in some fraudulent activity. when I called this number back he again identified himself as detective Johnson and said that they were issuing a warrant for my arrest for something about a loan that I apparently applied for but wouldn't give me any information about it and then when I refused to give out any information he said to enjoy spending 9 months in jail. Don't give out info they are trying to get money from individuals and using threats to intimidate the person being called.

the same thing happened to me .  they called my place of employment (on my first day)  was transferred to legal and no message left. called again today gave me the same speil spoke with agent watson, then asked to call agent johnson had funky accent. told me had legal action pending for fraud on my ss number, rattled off completely wrong social and wrong dob then when i said that wasnt me he hung up on me

received a call this morning from an emergency number did not pick up and no msg was left. then a person claiming to be a federal agent johnson called my job and told my hr manager that i was included in an on going investigation and to call 813-408-5230. how do i report this.

Got a call from "1911" this morning, also with an accent.  Claimed to be an officer Johnson with the Pennsylvania State Police. When I asked him which Barracks number he didn't know what I meant.  He told me I was to call the Dept. of Justice and speak to officer Watson at 813-408-5230 in Tampa Florida. When I pushed him for further info including his callback number the line disconnected.  I called the number in Florida and a man answered again with an accent saying "Dept. of Justice".  I asked his name and he said Mike Smith. I told him about my suspicions and asked to speak to Ofc.Watson.  He wanted my name which I refused to give.  I asked him if he was an agent and he said he was the operator. He started getting upset and I told him if this was truely from the Dept. of Justice he would understand my concerns and alleviate them.  I told him I would look up the number online and call the Dept of Justice in Tampa and ask for him.  Oddly it's not the same number.

I got a call at my job from this # claiming to be the department of justice. They were trying to scam me for money

Okay this fool been calling me on my cell for 3 days and it shows up EMERGENCY. Then he called my job claiming he was call from SC Police Department and told me Officer Watson was looking for me because of an ongoing investigation against me. He left the number 813-408-5230

A person called me and the number came from 911 twice.  I couldn't understand him.  Then a call came from the police dept.  A Spanish accent and said he was the Chief of Police Mr. Rooney and if I didn't call the Justice Dept. he was coming to arrest me.  Told me fraudulent activity on my ss # and I had to call 813-408-5230 and talk to the Dept. of Justice Agent Johnson.  I called 'Agent Johnson'.  I asked him for the main phone number at the 'Justice Dept' he was at and he hung up.  Reported them.
