Telemarketer illegally calling a private Do Not Call cellular listing.

got a call from this number this morning but didn't answer

called me this morning, no message. weird.

I got this call today one time but I called them back and got right through. Talk to a sweetheart and she removed my number 4right then. Asked her how they got it, she said from my local realtor board as public record. She also said what they are offering is a free informational seminar on short sales and HAFA so I am going to go. Can't hurt right!

Well... that is debatable K. If a phone number is utilized to conduct business it does not fall under the DNC list. That is for personal phones. Now the catch is that as a Realtor, I have a personal cell phone, but I also give that number out on my signs and such... so technically it is a business line.

I don't know why you people do not just use the opt out on their site, I did last month and not a single call from them again.

I still get telemarketing calls, but not from these guys.

Well, that all depends on the Do Not Call.. if you are on the list, but you use your personal phone for business AND the licensing board has your permission to hand it out... you are not able to join the Do Not Call list really. Business to business is not illegal.

Anyways, I got called from this number on Monday afternoon, it is a free seminar and I think I am going to go. Can't hurt right now in with the market the way it is.

I did ask how they got my number and they said it came from my state licensing board.

Even if you are a real estate agent, if you are on the Do Not Call list, you shouldn't get these calls.

You can file a complaint here:

If your number is on the Do No Call list, you should file a complaint.

You can also file a complaint for receiving a message that is recorded (like this one is).  They are called "robocalls"

supposedly you can go to their website and request they not call.  I always assume that simply verifies it's a real number and that I'll end up with increased telemarketing calls.

Trying to sell a Seminar on how to close Short Sales.

I got this call today only once, but I called back and got to talk to someone, she said the removed my number. They are not selling anything though, so I am not sure if that qualifies for the do not call list.... I did ask her what it was and it was a free seminar about short-sales and how to work with HAFA.

They keep calling my cell phone twice a day.  They gave me this number to call back if I want them to stop but it is always busy.....either everyone else wants them to stop calling also or they just don't want to hear for you.  I'd like to know where these idiots got my number.  What ever happened to the DO NOT CALL LIST !!!!!!!  The name is californiashowcases.com telemarketing selling (of course) unwanted webinars.    P.S,   STOP CALLING

Just call the number back and they will remove you from their list. Worked for me. Got one call and no more. Said I was on their list because I am a Realtor... They have upcoming training seminars in Cali for Short sales and HAFA!

just got another call from these persistent telemarketers on my cell phone now no less!

Sick and Tired of calls from Telemarkerts

Two calls on my cell in one day so far, one at 11AM and another at 1:30PM. Left no message, but shows it came from Florida, even though when I called back, it was "California Showcases." I have no knowledge of this company.
