Got a call from 813-449-6453 ext 1155. name was Mike Garity with GSA-1000. Wondered if we would like to sign up for this 1 year gov't contract on a no bid requirement. I didn't callhim back-sounded like another scam!!

813-449-6453 EXT 1155 called us on 4/8/2009 about signing up a Federal Contract. I tried to reverse check the phone number, it is a cell phone line. I think it's a scam!!!

Received a call from "Barbara Arkin" at 813-449-6453 ext. 1138 - abouty signing exclusive government contracts....whatever....

I too got a call from 813.449.6453 ext 1138 but it was a Tammy.  All about exclusive government work and not having to bid most of the projects.  I was unable to return the call as it has someone elses name on the message and no company name.

got the same call from a "Kristen Sites" at extension 1149.  Same comment about a 1 year no bid government contract... sounds like a scam to me.

I got a call from Tracy Ronkey at ext 1126 about no bid contracts as well. Read many negative things about this company. Just a telemarketer.

"Chuck DiNova" Just called 2/11/09, 11:40 a.m. CST, saying he was with "Federal Suppliers" and wanting to talk to our president about a "Federal Contract"

GSA1000 has my partner convinced to send them money.  I look at this as too good to be true.  Now, when I slow to send them a check because I want to check things out, they hammer me like you wouldn't believe.  I'm convinced I need to do more investigation.  Anyone get a good value outta GSA1000???

I  went with GSA 1000.  They owe me $5450 and have NEVER even supplied me with anything.  I have been trying for 7 months to work with these worthless people.  A million lies later

I have visited GSA1000 recently and was a little surprised at the 'atmosphere' of the office. It just seemed to me that they could pick up in the middle of the night and be gone. My partner and I have been considering using them, but my first impression is forcing me to keep looking. I find a lot of negative on the internet, but nothing that can really be substantiated. I am really interested if they can do what they say they can do.
I have looking for other companies that also do the same thing. Can you tell me who you guys decided to go with?

We just got a call from Tim 813-449-6453 ext 1163.  Identified himself from GSA1000 and wanted to talk to the business owner.  He said it was for an opportunity to bid with the federal gov't on a 1 year no bid program.  I asked him to fax over info; I'm not expecting anything.

See it is people like you that go on spreading bad information about our name. No where in your post did you mention that we tried to remedy that with this so called customer of ours and to date he still has not made himself available to discuss this issue!!! Why dont you check out our website where we actually have clients with all of their information available for you to look at and even call!!!!

That is because we have a multi phone line system and our call can go out any any of 10 numbers however we only have one incomming line that is why he had an extension

I got a call from gsa100 and the phone rep said she was with gsa and wanted to know if i was interested in a 5 yr gsa schudule......i asked some basic questions and she said i needed to talk to a specialist,,,,,this would cost me thousands,,,,, but guarenteed me tens of thousands of dollars if i would let her get my company a gsa schedule..........     after all that,,,,,and doing some checking out they are nothing more than an advertising company playing off the idiots that would hear the word  gsa and think its the real gsa-general services adminisration   ,,,,,,,shame on you gsa100,,,,,,go pray on someone else,,,,,,,,,dont be there next sucker

I got the same call today (5/12/2009) from Bonnieeceived a call who identified herself as being with "GSA 1000".  She wanted to speak to the President, about "no-bid government contracts".  They are trying to represent themselves as GSA to capture people's interest.  They should be investigated and closed down.

This place is a joke, I repeatedly asked her if the call was concerning a specific job for the government and she said yes but wouldn't give me any more info, typical telemarketer!!

Received same call today from Ed with this company.  Very persistent and said all the same things those of you who posted said he would.  Just wanted to say "thank you" for these posts.  Saved me time and money.

yeah.. Anne just called here too. She got all antsy and pissed off when we told her that we already bid on the no contract bids, and that she was wasing oxygen..

I actually have done business with Federal Suppliers and found them to be very helpful and a valuable tool for getting my name out to federal buyers.  I also got a listing of the government agencies that use the book and was able to contact a few of them and received contracts that way.  I got a call today and was surprised that the company is now called GSA 1000.  Either way, they still were very helpful over the phone.  They even offered to come help me set up my GSA contract at my location.  I have used this company before and will continue to do so

Just got a similar call from Bonnie and she said her company name was GSA 1000.  Similar to yours..wanted to speak to the owner about a new program for Federal Government One Year No Bid Contract Program.  She really wouldn't answer any of my questions directly so I didn't hand her over to the owner...me.

Rick Fitton Called wanting to know if we would be interested in a 1 year no bid project for the government - I am fairly adept at recognizing telemarketers so I took down the number & started researching and here I am. This is Telemarketing at it's worst - preying on contractors struggling in this tough economy.

got a call from lori grigsby.  also said she was calling from gsa.  we have gov't contracts so i thought it was legit and searched for her name on the gsa web site.  googled the phone number and ended up here.  needless to say we won't be calling them back.
