the same, got a prerecorded message "serious matter, returned item from my financial institution" yada yada. If you do answer them, request a summons sent to your local court for delivery.  Please report these scammers to the state attorney general.
do not provide any info.  I like to answer the phone as Lt. whomever, state police investigation division. they usually hang up REAL quick.

I get called twice a day about a returned instrument from my banking institution.  They threaten me with legal action.  It is all a recording.  Don't know who this is.

keep getting calls from this number and they say that i had a payday loan from a long time ago and now i owe them thousands of dollars.  guys name is miles howard who says he is calling from a company named US 1 Financial LLC.

called and left a message that i had "a serious incident regarding a returned item from my bank." Not so!!!! Have not had a returned item, at least for the last 4 years.  This is absolutely a scam. do not provide any company info.

I got a call also -- but so garbled, I can't understand a word of it.
