We got this call after placing a car up for sale on craigslist.  I didn't listen to the entire message because it was one of the many companies who called with an outstanding offer to list our car with their service who would only take x amount of the profit, blah blah blah.

Received email from ernie.butler64@msn.com after listing my car on Craigs List.  Email said to call "Ernie" at 866-852-9712.  Called "Ernie" and got answering machine.  Left my number.  Received call from Scott Johnson (caller ID 813-600-1787) He guaranteed they would sell my car for the full asking price in a short time (30-60 days) or return the $199 they wanted to sell my car.  They asked what kind of car it was.

So without knowing what the car was or what the condition was, they would get full asking price.

Said something about "I've been trying to reach you" before I hung up. The initial pause tells me it was likely an autodialer.

Its a scam
