Caller ID says, "CPE SOLUTIONS 813-662-3592".  Called here 3/27 at 10:34 and 4/1 at 11:55.  No message on machine.

This is a Continuing Professional Education provider for online courses for CPAs.  They are trying to telemarket their CPE courses.

I have received at least six calls from this group after I politely requested they stop calling and that they remove my number from their calling list.  Whether they are legit or not, based on their tactics, I will  not do business with them and I am spreading the word in my professional community.  We don't need to purchase continuing education from this type of operation.

I think this is a legitimate company. It's continuing education for CPAs and attorneys. Although it is a nuisance for them to call even if you need continuing education. If you are not a CPA or attorney there is no reason they should be calling you. Wasting there time and yours. Unlike most of the telemarketers they will probably actually remove you from their list if you ask them to.

I have purchased from this company before, so it's not necessarily a scam. They sell continuing education for CPAs, and probably other licensed professionals as well.

They can be a little annoying, though.

You can always tell it's a scammer when you pick up the phone and there's a delay before someone on the calling end picks up.  In my case they are looking for my boss but can't pronounce his last name - dead give away that they are all liars.  Sure wish these people would return to their hole - without a phone.  

This phone number is from cpecredit.com, which is part of Professionals Publishing Group. I've received soliciting calls from them to sell CPE courses. Most of the time when I don't answer, they just breathed into the phone or just let voice mail record their office noises.

Same thing as Kimberly, I suspect it is from a collection agency, who doesn't quite have its act together when answering there outgoing calls.
