I got a phone call twice from this number, and the message they left was there was an issue that cannot go further until I call back.  When I tried to call back, the message said the company's name was Tyler and Morgan.  The person who called me was Richard Goldberg, but when I tried to reach his extension, I got a message saying he was on the other line.  I feel like this is a phishing scam since I don't have any debt or problems to consolidate.  I would be cautious if receiving messages from this number.

I have received several calls from this firm telling me that there will be an arbitration scheduled for a certain time within a few days, but I have never received anything in writing from this firm so I will not call them back.

SOME OF THIS COMPANIES ARE STARTING TO BE DEBT BUYERS AND BUY DEBTS FROM BANKS ETC. SOME OF THEM ARE EVEN BEEN FILLING JUDGEMENTS ONCE THEY SEE ASSEST FOR A DEBTOR ANY PROPERTY AND EMPLOYEMENT...WAGES ARE ALSO GETTING GARNISH DEPENDING IN STATE LAWS....

I recieved a message from Trey Harris yesterday telling me i needed to call him immediately! to be honest i was afraid because he had such a deep voice but when i called he told me i had an outstanding balance with citifinancial (but he wasnt rude about it). i told i couldnt pay it all today so he allowed me to do a payment plan. The surprising thing is that he wasnt like the rest of the a**holes who call me he was very nice and SEXY sounding to me so i paid him! All i can do is hope that more collectors can be like him! they would get alot farther then trying to belittle you.

I got a call from Trey Harris about a week ago about a past due account I had. I told him I hadnt paid them because i was on the verge of losing my home. Surprisingly he was understanding and worked with me to resolve this issue for over a week! I thought he was gonna give up on me but he didnt he talked my creditor and even had his director talk to them as well and they got me the lowest settlement possible just under $4k on a $12k balance i was shocked! needless to say i got the $$$ from my family and with their help i was able to avoid a possible judment from my creditor......the only thing Mr. Harris asked is that i come on here and other sites and let you guys know that he is one the good guys and is here to help and thats exactly what i did! Here is some friendly advice talk to them and try to work something because if you dont its will only get worse. Good luck to you all!

These People are extremeley RUDE!  They will not let you speak, they cut you off, call you a liar and tell you you are stalling.   I am actually paying another company for this same debt.  The debt left with me by a divorce, and then right after that my daughter was diagnised with cancer.  He called me a liar, and started to argue with me. Two people cannot collect on the same debt.  Yet they will not listen to me.

They called my home asking for my uncle which does not live at home.Said it was a legall problem that needs 2 be straightened out..I dont answer any of the calls from ppl like this,I let machine take the message,so aggravating!!!!

I USED TO WORK THERE AND BELIEVE ME,...... THEY BREAK LAWS RIGHT AND LEFT! and.... donna shanor-gonzalez is a b**ch who has no hesitation about bribing or offering her collectors narcotic drugs. Ive worked for a few collection agencies in Florida and have never seen tactics such as she uses in any agency. She lies and twists the truth and encourages her employees to do the same. In fact, when i refused to comply with her demand to violate the FDCPA in just about every way imaginable, i was fired.

i would suggest that if you want your post and the information you listed to be credible, you should start by knowing how to spell and type.  What type of attorney gets a law degree without knowing how to spell or use correct grammar!!!

Sorry, I should of mentioned that if the collector refuses or does not supply you with their company information, address, etc. THEY are breaking the laws governing the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Monitor their call frequency, take notes...and SUE THEM. Use a consumer attorney.

My, my.....do we need to educate the community of consumers about the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Mr. Miami...you should be very schooled in this Act, but it seems you might have gone to a fly by night law school.

IF a creditor/collector calls and you take the call because you want them to stop calling, ask for the company name, the name of the original creditor they are collecting for, their MAILING and PHYSICAL address and a non-800# for their business.

Send them a letter via certified return receipt stating that you are demanding they cease and desist all calls to said numbers. THEY MUST adhere to this request and are still able to notify you via the US Postal service as PROPER business should be done. PAPER trails and all.,

STOP listening and falling for the WE are the reason the economy is so bad. The defaults by most consumers are because of the big dogs that got so greed hungry, which INCLUDES the credit industry, who handed out credit like crack. My 8 year old was getting credit card pre-approved offers.

LEARN your states Consumer Credit laws. Texas IS a VERY consumer friendly state. All credit card agreements are held under contract law, which gives the consumer great negotiating power.

Educate, educate yourself. Since obviously by the writings of Mr. Lawyer from Miami, you can't trust the lawyers on the collection industries side to be educated. The collectors themselves half the time do not know the laws that govern the state you reside in, just that they want their pennies on a dollar.

BY the way, if you are being approached by a second or especially a third party collection company. THEY really have NO right to even demand collection from you. YOU did NOT sign a contractual agreement with them, only the original creditor.

I keep getting calls from this number for a person that passed away in 1998.  I told the caller to look up the death notice in the newspaper upder death notices for August 1998.  The jerk keep calling acting like I don't know what I am talking about. Ok so these people have been calling my cell phone constantly for the past 3 weeks. And they are calling for someone I have never heard of a day in my life. I have gotten 8 nasty voice messages so far that I have had to delete. This is really anoying!!!! So I had to call them and wait on the phone to get an actual person to talk to and have them remove my number from their call list! The lady that answered the phone was extremly rude and said she would remove my number and hung up with out an explination or anything. How Fu@%ed up is that! I have been getting auto calls for about a week now i finally called back at first to tell them to stop calling me but when they told me what it was US Bank that I owed money( to be Honest i forgot about it) i said if I paid it will you stop calling me the guy said sure! he even gv me a deal and let me settle for $750 when i owed $1200 so i was ok with that. Perhaps your passing judgment could and should be tempered by some facts:

For example:  I have excellent credit and pay my bills on time.  I get collection calls for folks I do not know.  Even when you nicely call with your caller id showing your name and number to tell them they have an invalid phone number and request they not continue calling (in some cases 5+ times per day), they continue to call for over a year.  I continue to get calls for an Amy and for a Yosef 1-1/2 years since I've had phone numbers they keep calling.  Despite explaining I'm in ill health and these calls disrupt rest needed to help me fight the good fight, it never ends.
