(813) 841-2507 called my cell phone while I was working today. Came up as a Florida number. I waited for a person to answer, after the automated system was finished explaining what the call was for. I got a middle eastern sounding man on the other end. I politely asked him to remove me from their calling list. He started hysterically laughing, asking why I waited for a person just to say that? I instantly got furious, and demanded to speak to his supervisor. He started laughing harder saying he WAS the supervisor. I asked to speak to anyone above him. He changed the subject and asked how many credit cards I have. I told him zero, because I'm a minor (lies haha) he starts thinking he's cute, saying "14, 15, 16, 17, 19?" Again, I asked to remove my number, and stop harassing me. He then says he'll put me through to the 2 hour waiting for his manager, saying "bi***" as he hangs up on me!

I had the same "recording" coming through almost daily from British Columbia Canada last month. They politely took me off their list, now I am getting telephone calls from these people.Trying to sell the same scam, in a different location.

I don't know why anyone would return a call to the card service scammers, but those that do will be paying for a long distance call, if they're successful in reaching one of their spoofed numbers.

The LAST thing you want to do is call these morons back. Then they know they have a good #, and you will keep getting calls from them, and who knows. Robo Calls just validate someone is available and a real potential victim..

Got a call from 813-841-2507. Wasn't near my phone so it went to voicemail. No message was left. Not calling back cos I know it's a scam. If it was important they would've left a message.

I also received a call on my cell with no message left. Same day I received another call from 202 area code. I did not call either one of these back. Thank you for the info

So called "Credit card co" -wanting to reduce my interest rates.  
They call my home number a number of times and today my prepaid cell phone on
which  they had no way of knowing who I am or If I even had a credit card.
Both numbers are on the Do Not Call List..for National and for State of Florida
If you press 1 for another person, they even claim it is part of the  Presidents "stimulus"
If the call was legit, upon request they would remove your number from the call list- and
these people don't..they just keep calling.

I was polite and asked for the company name. He was silent so I hung up.

Received a call from 813-841-2507.  An automated message came on stating this was the second and final call for me to lower my interest rate on my credit card and to push 1 to be connected with a representative.  I pushed 1 and a man with a foreign accent answered and asked if I wanted to lower the rate on my master or visa card.  Assuming this was a scam, I asked which card (I only have 1 card and know that my credit card company would not call to ask me to lower) and the guy hung up.

Called by this number twice in a day.  The number is from Tampa, FL.  Actually, just after I visited Tampa, it has started.  As far as I remember, I gave my number to the taxi driver at there.

It is a joke.  They should have been on their toes,  monitoring and screening your calls so that you will  be free of any and all unwanted callers.  Have you updated your list of approved and declined callers yet to the FTC,  so that the monitors can stay vigilant for future calls that you may or may not want?

The DNC is a bloomin  "list".   It doesn't monitor,  screen or block any unwanted calls for anyone.

Called at 10p and woke us up. Non working number when I called back. Do not call list seems to be a joke! I am on this list . Annoying.

Got a call from this number on my cell.  did not answer.  No message.

I keep getting calls from these guys and they ask for my credit card number.  I asked twice to stop calling me and the last guy told me 'F*** YOU BI***'.  I said, "what did you just tell me?"  and he once again said "F*** YOU BI***.'  The callers have very strong accents.  I am on the Do Not Call List.  This is obviously an overseas scam to steal from Americans.

They called my cell and called back and a man said something about visa or mastercard,Don't give them any information.

All 3 of you were called by the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us,pretending to be associated with our credit card companies, in an effort to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers so they can rip us off. People that have given these junkies their card number have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these lowlifes, and warn others before they are cheated!

After reading the above listed posts, I would agree that this is some sort of CC scam. it IS worth reporting to the Do Not Call list, I have had very good luck in reporting a couple of incidences over the last few years. One being an unwanted fax that I tried to "unsubscribe" our number to - it listed a website to go to to do it...it was an expired site. The fax had an email, so I sent an email requesting to be unsubscribed.  He responded less than professionally. I responded back that he would be breaking the law if he didnt, he then threatened me.  I filed on the DNC list, got a case number and forwarded them the emails.  Never heard back from the guy again and I do hope that the FTC prosecuted him!!

I, also, did not answer.  Even though my cell phone is primarily a business phone, I work on the west coast not the east.  But even then, I dont answer a number I dont recognize.  If they want to talk to me, they'll leave a message!

I just got off the phone with this number. She answered extremely unprofessionally...Hello? Hello? Not even like Hi my name is blah thanks for calling blah company.....Sounded like a woman from India and she said that I could lower my credit card interest rates. I don't have any credit cards. She then wanted my email so that the company would email me instead of call I refused and she wouldn't let it go. When I asked what company she worked for she said Mountain View or something of the like...she was hard to understand. This JUST happened.. how can I report them to who ever to get them in trouble!?!??!

I got a call from this number at 6:03pm PDT.  Did not answer and no msg left.  Glad I always check here when this happens.
