A guy by the name of Duncon Michaels called my corporate company and demanded to talk to AP for an invoice of 541.26. The caller ID showed he was calling from 813-849-0785 but he gave me the number 866-285-4448. Once we looked into information he was claiming we found there was no such open invoice and that this was a scam.

they have been calling me they ask for my maintenance person's name I told them one day Brian and then the next day Bob, they just called and asked for Brian and then when I said he was busy they asked for his cell phone number. They will call back is what they told me. I am waiting...LOL

Ashley called and asked for whoever takes care of our maintenance and then wants the cell #.  We didn't give it to her and she hung up.  Extremely rude on the phone.

Jessica from "The Lighting Company" asked who handles our maintenance.  I said, "The landlord" and she said something along the lines of "OK, thanks".

I received a call from Matt from Commercial...wanting my personal address to send me a gift.  I said no and he hung up.

This number just called and repeated more or less the same thing as previously stated. COC lady, "Is the person who takes care of building maintenance there?" I'm glad there have been other calls by the same number to figure out this was a telemarketer.

Call from Amy the 'lighting girl'.  Asking to know who is the guy in charge of our maintenance.  Asked her what company she was with, she repeated that she was the lighting girl.  Asked her AGAIN what company she was with and she said COC or something to that affect.  Told her that they the 'guy' in charge of maintenance was named Ginger and 'he' wasn't available.  I think Amy realized that I was on to her as that ended our conversation

Called my work phone, then my cell phone.. didn't answer either one.

Asked who was in charge of maintenance. Told him everyone here was. He asked if I was authorized to make purchases. Told him I was not authorized. He asked who was then. I asked him what he was selling. He said Nothing just updating his *CLICK*

Ben called and was very rude and annoying.

This number called here today asked for the warehouse manager by his name. I put him to voicemail. Then he called back saying that he was returning our office manangers call, that he got his message. I put him on hold & told the office manager what he had said... My office manager said "Check this out! Put the call through." He started telling this guy off, i can't really repeat what he said but it was hilarious! He ended it with you're a liar & ask your mother! LOL then he hung up. I doubt he's calling back here again!

Called and asked for the person who handles our plant (lighting) maintenance.  When I told caller that would be me he launched into an offer for a free NFL cooler and drink carrier, plus a lighting catalog.  I politely declined his offer and he said goodbye and hung up.  Hope he doesn't call back...

Ditto - frequent rude calls from this number. Caller id shows it was C_O_C. Googling the number led me here. Much like the other folks said, the caller says, "I need to talk to [bosses first name]." We've repeatedly asked them to stop calling - to no avail. We are on the "Do Not Call" list already. I think I'll report the violation at https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx?panel=2

I received a call, they said they were sending me a 3 piece cooler set and a catalog.

We have gotten several calls from this number from a Drew.  I have warned him several times to stop calling here.  We are not interested.  He is rude and doesn't stop.  I will try reporting them to the BBB.C.O.

Typical scam of trying to trick someone in the company into buying overpriced items.  In this case they act like they are your best friend and have known you forever, even offer your some "FREE" gifts for your order just to help them clear out their special promotion.  If they have hooked you by then they will send you some item such as a light bulb (that should cost <$1.00) for $20.00+  so the unsuspecting employee gets his free gift and then a bill for several hundered dollars for something that should cost ten dollars.  If you try to return the order or dispute the bill they will play the recording of the employee agreeing to the purchase.  At this point their collections department will use every rude trick in the book to get paid and the threat to sue...  
If you ignore them they will go away.  All your employees need to do is tell them that they only deal with approved vendors and if they are interested they need to submit all company information including prices and terms etc.  they will hang up on you then.

These people are jokes. They call and ask for the shop manager by his first name "Chris", which is a common name. Everytime I ask for a last name and they either say "ugh, the shop manager" or hang up on me. Why would you hang up? I mean, we havent even got to the good part yet... Where I put you on hold forever while "connecting" you with him. ;)

DiDo - They have called here as well using the name Sandra and demanding to speak with our Maintenance Staff by "Name", regarding lights.  Each time they demand we give them his cell number.  When we ask can we get their number and he can return the call they hang up.  BOGUS!!

Have been getting a call from this number for a few weeks.  The guy says his name is Don, then John, then Leo.... He is rude and really irritating.  Always asks for the shop manager by name and gets angry and rude when I can't get him on the phone for him.  I called this company which is called Commercial Lighting Company out of Tampa, FL.  I told the customer service rep that we were being harassed and would like our number removed.  She added us to the DO NOT CALL list right away.  We will see if that stops the calls.

Yep, they ask for my supervisor also but ask for him by his name and acts like he knows us and him and when I tell him he's not available, they say no problem just give me his cell number so I can call him.  I tell him everytime, I can't do that but if you give me your name and company, I'll have him call you back.  They just say that's ok and they'll try again.

They keep asking for my supervisor.  I told them he was in a meeting both times they called.  They asked when he would be available and I didn't know.  Both times the guy says "Well just give me his cell phone number then."  I told him I didn't have it.  I know they are not a legitimate caller that should have his cell number.
