I have also received several messages from this number. I am trying to report as fraud. I called the number to tell them to quit calling me and it is auto. My mouth just dropped open as it ask for your SS#, your account number, your passcode, your credit card number, your three digit number on the back, your passcode for that account. On and on. At the end they say the info will be confirmed and within 4 days 25.00 will be added to the account you made reference to and if you have more than one account/credit card you should call in witht that info. Oh my gosh !

ARRRGH! Getting several text messages from this number and I have to pay for them!!!
Noel 2011-06-06 20:59:28 Unknown
I keep getting the messages too. I called the number from my job (which doesn't have caller id display) and the automated message just says good bye and hangs up. If I call from cell phone then it goes thru the bad text to speech version of the script that I presume everyone else is referring to. I did not stay on the line long enough to hear the request for my information, just long enough to verify that there was a different message if the caller id was available.

Alyssa 2011-06-06 20:59:28 Unknown
They keep sending my parents and I text messages saying that I need to collect 25$ or 50$(yes they put the number before the sign). It requests your ssn, pin, password, credit card information etc.And it's a fraud. It's obnoxious,I have Tmobile and so do my parents and we continuously get them;I doubt this bank even exists

I received a picture message on my cell phone that said: You have received a new American National Bank of Texas notification. Call now free: 813-862-0448 to hear it and claim your 50$ fidelity bonus. The sender was 813-862-0448@anbtx.com and received the message at 1:57:42pm 06/16/2010. When I called the number it asked for my social which was a big mistake on my part but then asked for my checking account number and that is when I hung up.

the sad thing is that the message can not even be reported to the police simply because it is an internet crime and they will not investigate it unless you have given out your personal information, then it will give bogus information to where things went, then when you report that to the police it will be never to catch these crooks. Just be aware that it has been reported to T-mobile about this fraud and they have said that nothing can be done about it and to report any frauds to the 3 credit bureaus equifax, transunion, and experian. They can notify you then if someone tries to get credit in your name before it happens.

DAVID TAYLOR 2011-06-06 20:59:28 Unknown
well the NATIONAL BANK OF TEXAS is a real Bank they are after these CROOKS .These crooks are trying to get all your information to steal identities . let me say t mobile tells you that this is internet fraud nothing can be done . thats a lie. they are covering their selfs by saying this because they can be sued for liability in these cases .also the higher ups tell their associates to say that nothing can be done .let me tell you there is a whole division at the United states FBI that deals with computer crimes and frauds .also if it any thing to do with crimes over state lines and credit cards that comes under the secret sevice of the united states ,alot of people do not know this .these CROOKS when caught will do a long stretch in prison thats for sure . | John 2010-06-17 03:36:56 Unknown |
These are e-mails sent to you as a text to your phone. Most major phone companies give you the option to change your cell e-mail address and that will stop the texts.
Clay 2010-06-17 03:30:49 Unknown
I use T-mobile. I have the ability to change my cell phone e-mail address online on my T-mobile profile for free. If you can do this, it will stop you from receiving these texts.
Victor 2010-06-17 02:00:43 Telemarketer
We got this text message everyday. Can anyone let us know how/where to file a complain about this scam?
melissa 2010-06-16 19:48:41 Unknown
These jerks deserve worse. I had 3 texts back to back yesterday. I hope they get busted soon.
Mikey 2010-06-16 17:58:21 Unknown
Same old scammers with difference phone numbers and bank names. Best bet is to report the numbers and block the texts thru your phone company. T-Mobile lets all of these scams thru for some reason. EHH! it must be money.
James Dean 2010-06-16 17:53:14 Unknown
Same old scam, except your FIDELITY BONUS IS NOW 50$ INSTEAD OF 25$. Fidelity means accuracy and/or faithfulness and in English, $ signs go before not after the numbers. What scam bags.
Current numbers used today by these scam bags are 817-752-0506 and 813-862-0448. Block these numbers thru your phone service provider.
sue 2010-06-16 17:25:33 Unknown

I've gotten 3 of them today, and even on an anonymous internet board, I hesitate to say what I'd like to do to these jerks. I cannot believe something can't be done and I always wonder where they find the morons willing to do this.
Bebees 2010-06-15 18:35:58 Unknown
Got the same exact message at 1:28pm today. My husband and I both have been getting several of these messages. Ugghh
