No message left. Did not pick up. ID said "Your Media Zone" was the caller. Don't know who that is....

The caller ID is the same as this threads. They just didn't give a company name.

After about a month of this call, I finally picked up the phone. They are some kind of telemarketer peddling magazines. I don't buy into it though because they kept asking me stuff that they would never need to make a sale, like my husbands name and place of work. They knew my info (where I work) which scared the crap out of me!! They also asked for a personal contact. They wanted to know their phone number and when I asked why that was necessary they said because of if we were to move they could get a forwarding address. And, then when I inquired their cancellation policy, they claimed there was no such policy!!! Folks, this is a phishing scam!!!! I didn't buy their "magazines" and I didn't give them any info. The fact that they knew where I worked baffles me as I just started working there and have told nobody this info!!!! I am very worried and troubled about that fact!!! And, when I tried to call the number back it just rings and rings!!

Oh and DNC is a joke! I have been on the list for over a year. One time I reported a call and it stopped for about a week. Now they call back under a different number. This is soooo damn frustrating!!! The numbers they call on are bogus. So, there is almost no way to stop these calls. They call nonstop! I got one at midnight last week. I called the number back and found out it was a landline. I felt bad because it woke up this woman who clearly wasn't the harasser! Peoples numbers are being hijacked to make these calls!! I am tempted to just get rid of all of our phones!! Ugh! I hope this will one day end!

This number calls everyday asking if I am Mrs. Blank. When I say yes the woman, with a slight accent I cant determine, says she is calling to check to see if I am satisfied with the publications I'm currently receiving. When I tell her I havent subscribed to anything, she tells me she wants to send me free subsciptions of magazines that fit my interests. I tell her no thank you and to take me off her call list. When she calls me again, I tell her I just talked to her the day before. Seems like they are fishing for some personal info. ??????,

this number called my house this morning and the name on the caller id said PUB SUCS TAMPA so when I looked it up it said some woman named Mildred C, Lowzow  had this number but shes dead. So tell me how a dead woman call? She must be calling from thge other side I guess.This just proves that its a scam and these people need to be stopped.

I got a call this morning from this number and when I answered and said something nobody said anything and they hung up. It could of been because of wait I said when I answered the call. The caller Id said Pub Svcs Tampa. I am on the Do not call list and have been on it for  quit a while.

Keep getting calls for a "Mrs Reemer"???, then wants to talk to "the lady of the house..." I told them to take us off their call list.

I have gotten calls from calf. and fl. and who knows where, anything from owing money that i was suppose to have borrowed to mags. that I suppose to have ordered and they want to arrest me for monies owed. Well guess what i did? I got tired of it and started to play the game. I just gave them what they wanted to hear, I give them a made up credit card number and they never called back. Have some fun with them and piss them off it gets funny, what are they going to do arrest me for non credit card number?

I AM A YOUNG DISABLED WOMAN WITH 2 KIDS..  I CANT DROP EVERYTHING TO RUN TO THE PHONE THEN HAVE THEM HANG UP WHEN THEY ASK FOR ME..  DONT EVEN KNOW WHO THE HELL THESE PEOPLE ARE...   PLEASE STOP CALLING MY HOUSE!!!!

Called at 10:05 AM Mountain Time asking for the women of the house i asked what are you calling about and she hung up.

Got a call and a hang up message. How do they get my number, this past week has been hell with telemarketers.

Once again, I seriously suggest, everybody sign up for the Do No Call List. After signing up on the list you have to wait 3 months before your number is not suppose to be called anymore. To sign up go here: donotcall.gov

After you have signed up, and waited the 3 month waiting period. I then suggest whenever you get any calls, like from the number above, you then report the offending call, each time you get it, and for every number that calls you. To report a number go here: donotcall.gov


this is the only way to end the telemarketing/scammer phone calls.

Now personally, this number has called all three of my cell phone numbers, and both of my home landline numbers. I am waiting to see if they end up calling my business landline numbers. Most likely they will, since it is most likely a automated dialing machine.

The caller ID shows one name while calling the number back gets you another name, they say they are reader Services. The ask you to opt out by giving them your name, address, phone number. Please note that asking you for such personal information to be removed from a call list is illegal in all 50 states, it is a federal law. All that is required to have your number removed from a call list is the phone number.

Recieved the call at 9:43 AM, Caller said "You hav an incomming call, stand by while I connect you." then the line went dead.

i got a call from that number after asked me for my name they end the call,
when i tried to call back no answer or a voice mail pick up very strange.

This number calls me every other day.  It shows up on caller id as Florida call.

This number wont stop calling and when you answer they hang up. what is the purpose of this?

I spoke with Melissa about a magazine subscription.
She was not a hard sale at all, and well I do not have much of a life if I am and not taking photographs so we chatted a while.
I never new the Seattle Backpackers Magazine was anything but online, but I am emailing the one who does photo calls now to let her know this service has claimed to have picked them up......

The usefulnessof the DNC registry is pretty weak. At any point in time you have given your number to your bank, your credit card company, bought something, or otherwise given out your number to pretty much ANYONE, you have invalidated any DNC entry about your phone, at least for the compaines and affiliates of those companies specifically, especially your bank/CC. And cold dialers that just randomly dial every number in a zone are also exemtp. So are certain agencies working for the federal government as well as state, local, and federal government agencies and their hired telemarketers (elections are pretty much every year at some level). So, now that the DNC bubble has been burst, try looking instead to harrasment laws for those companies that call you repeatedly on the same line. Simply reporting them to you local phone and police officials will often stop them as they can't afford the multi-state lawsuits.

Called home phone twice, once at 8 am, and later in the afternoon. Left no message on answering machine. Caller ID said "Florida"

This number called my house saying they were doing a womens survey on magizines. Then they said that they wanted to send me magazines for free. Then told me that 4 magazines were 2.80 a week. I told them I was not interested and they were still trying to get my address so I hung up on them. I do not want magaizines or calls from them.

Called this morning 1/17/2011...wanting to validate that I get my subscriptions on time and in good repair....then wanted to do a short but brief survey....no thanks.....

I get the same treatment . Id like to tell 'em to BUZZ OFF
