I too received 2 calls over the weekend. When I attended the call no one spoke, they held it for 5-8 sec and disconnected

Called at 6 pm on Sunday, left no message, here as well. My grandson goes to USF. He told me he is on grants and loans so if I can give money to send it to him direct, not to the school. If it wasn't for his good grades he would not be at college at all, very poor family. He will be paying off loans long after he gets out of college.

This is USF calling. The purpose of the calls is to reconnect with alumni and parents of students attending the University. I worked there when i was in college. Money raised helps finance many scholarships, fellowships, chairs, professorships, and many other important things the university. Whether or not you make a donation, remember that the callers are current students just trying to do something for USF. Be patient with them. Personally, I used to not mind giving them a donation, and I had already shelled out a ton of money as an out of state student!
