I just listed an item on Craigslist too.  I also received a text from this number.  they asked if the item was still for sale, but the way they asked it was like a cut and paste of the entire description including the city I had listed.
I said "yes".   I then received the text asking for my full name/address/city/state/phone number etc and said "**I will like you to know that you will not be responsible for shipping I will have my mover come".
I know this is a scam but why can they keep using the same cell number and continue to try fishing for more victims?

This a***ole just arranged a purchase of a tv from me on Craigslist. Said he was from North Carolina. I did a look see on the number and it originates from Eerie Pennsylvania. The FTC told me this was the beginning of the scam, so don't worry about giving him name and address. He will send a phoney check for a larger amount and ask you to reimburse the difference.

posted on craigslist and received a text from this number asking if still for sale 2 hours after posting. I answered yes. Received 3 more texts asking to me to send my full name, address, city, state and cell phone number in order to send me a certified check. What a bunch of idiots. And they think I just fell off the turnip truck.
