Call from 814-414-4686, caller ID - "unavailable". I never answer "unavailable" calls. This and other sites
report it as a scam that tells you "for a free Ipad2 to log on to a website", which would be a bad idea.
Verizon has nothing to do with this - it is a SCAM!

Call verizon and ask them to block the number. I have a business account and they called as well. Also on the do not call list. Verizon blocked it for me.

I received a call from this number today at11:56 am.
No one one the other end.
I find out later everyone in my family got the same call.
My son called back and the said he won an ipad and to go to there website.

Its all a scam and I have a pre paid phone and they keep calling me. I dont even use verizon and they're calling me. Twice this morning and Twice just now.. How do I make them stop calling. I tried to get to an operator but it didnt even give me options.. After it plays the message it just gives you the voicemail.

I got the same call also. It's not just 814-440 numbers as I do not have an 440 number. Has to be something with Verizon customers. Just another fake trying to get peoples money.

I too received back-to-back calls from this number. I was on another line and did not answer. I am expecting a tech support call back on another matter, so I called back. Same thing... you've won a free iPad as a loyal Verizon Customer, yadda yadda yadda. I hung up after about 10 seconds of the recording.

I used to be a verizon customer but ported my number to at&t many years ago. I think they are calling known verizon prefixes like 814-440-**** and pretending to be verizon. Definetely scam. Report to FTC
