Basically what Chama is saying is: I do not know because I called this number. said I have a credit card in arrears, which is a LIE.

Back to me now . . . the number called me as well, and it left no message.

These people have been calling me for months, anywhere from once to six times a week.  Every time I press 1, tell them to please remove my number and they hang up.  Today I filed a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry. Next time I'm going to pretend I am interested and see if I can get more information from the scam artist on the other end.

They seem to call at the same time every day but they are calling my CELL PHONE.  No one will answer that one.

I rec'd a call from this number last night around 7pm et.   I did not answer.

got a call on my cell and tried to call it back w/in 2 hrs of them calling.  Said number was disconnected.  Same thing happened the other day from another number

Got the call but didn't answer. Also got a call from 1-666-019-5181 and it was a credit card call about reducing rate to 6%.  I didn't mean to take that call, but accidently opened it on my cell, hope I don't get a big fee for that mistake.

They called a few minutes ago with an automated messages saying "this is final chance to consolidate my credit card debt"  and I clicked "1" to talk to someone. When it started to ring there, I hung up. Within a few seconds, they called me back and a woman said she understood I would like to consolidate my credit card debt. I said, angrily, that I don't have any debt and PLEASE DON'T CALL ME AGAIN! REMOVE ME FROM YOUR LIST! I hope it works. I've gotten this message several times and usually just hang up immediately. This is the first time I've noted the number and told a person to remove me from their calling list.

Recieved call but no message, and when I called back, it was not a working number. I have no credit card debt, so if it is a scam, it is easily seen when they would be calling me to consolidate debt. I will update when and if they call back.

Scammers folks. Do not pick up, do not talk, do not give out any personal info.
If you don't know the calling number guys, let it go to voice mail or your machine. You can always return the call if it is on the up and up. Don't give these jerks any info folks. Its a SCAM.

7-28-99 3:39pm ct - received same number on my land line - so I answered it an it was a Cr Crd scam and after they started to speak I cut in and ask to have my phone number to be removed from their list and they hung up on me

I frequently get calls to my business cell phone. I'm trying to get them to put me on their do not call list, but once I tell them I don't want to reduce my credit card rates, they hang up on me.

He called earlier today.  It is a credit card scam.  I gave the moron a bunch of bogus information that will get him in trouble with the DoJ when he tries to use it :)

I continue to get calls from this number claiming they are some "Associated Services" and are trying to help me reduce my credit card interest rates.  I have told them FOUR times to put me on their do not call list (which they legally have to do if you request they do it) and they simply hang up on me.  The number is different each time.  The next time they call, I will be taking much more detailed information down to hopefully report them.
