I've also received calls from this number asking for the same person.  they do not stop.

Go to http://www.consumerfinance.gov/ and file a complaint.  The more information you have, the better.  Name of the company, name of person who called, phone numbers, and if you can get them: account number and company address.

I have been receiving calls from this number as well. Thanks to everyone who have complained so I do not feel alone in this frustration. I have been receiving calls like this since Friday. I have only answered the phone once and the foreign speaking guy asked for someone who obviously was not me. I screamed at him asking him to please remove me from their calling list. I think this made it worse because the calls started coming more frequently then and from a different number each time. I am at my wits end with these people. I am wondering how they call my number I am on the National Do Not Call Registry.

OMG These people call me ALL DAY, EVER DAY. Sooooo irritating!!! I know they are part of some stupid scam but it's next to impossible to get the calls to stop. I refuse to change my number because I have had it for many years but this is insane.

I have received 68 calls from this number and a series of numbers related to it.  They start at 6am.  I have told them numerous times to stop calling me and then hang up.  they call right back yelling my name and telling me to listen to them.  It is for a loan of some type and I do not know how they got my number.  Very frustrating to be called that many times especially when you are at work.

I have been getting calls all day today.  I have several from this number but 312-450-3625; 918-866-7810; 404-400-1244;415-315-9919;826-922-1713; 718-555-5444 these are driving me crazy.  Will the DoNotCallRegistry help stop these?

I would like to thank you because I have been getting these calls too. When I called the the (404) 400-1244
and asked about the (815) 687-8855 number they hung up on me. I called back and did the same thing and they hung up again.

I got this call this morning about a payday loan..  I have never used any such place and never will.  how did chris get my number?

I want these calls to stop. I have had it. I am on the do not call list and they still call. They call all day long They really need to stop and stop now.

I've gotten 13 phone calls from Chris Harris today!!!  From this number and three other numbers.  Some of them in 404 and 410 area codes.  I even received calls from him from 000-000-0000.  He keeps telling me that he works for a company that helps payoff pay day loans.  After answering the first 5 times with you must have the wrong number I dont have one... now he just gets mad and hangs up.

I gotten a phone call from this number 1-815-687-8555 from some guy name Chris Harris as well but also he got another number that he goes by as well number 404-400-1244 cause when I dial both numbers back the person on the other end said the same name of Chris Harris and have the same voice. So basically the idiot have 2 different numbers and when he call me the first time with the 404 number I did not pick up next I knew I gotten a phone call from the 815 number so I decide to pick it up and he came out saying his name was Chris Harris. So I told him do NOT call me at all or I whould call up the cops on him. So I figure let me check the 404 number as well so decide to call that 404 number to find out it was the same damn person of Chris Harris using that 404 number. I told him I know you got 2 different numbers the 404 and the 815 number and that if he continue to call I will reoirt him for harassement.

i have gotten this call yesterday and it has a record voice by the name of  Chris Harris and asked how are you today and when you told to him or the message it say that I have a outstand pay day loan out which I do not have and I answered the question and said no I do not it hang up on me

this number with a foriegn sounding person on the other line asked for richard, to which no one is named that in this household, he further asked why i did not friend him on facebook and got my number from there? Scammer, I told him I did not frend him due to possibly being a terrorist and he had the wrong number I also called him a towel headed mother ....... and he laughed at me and hung up the caller id stated woodstock il.

Don't pay attention to that they are trying to scare you out of some money. Tell them to go ahead and see what they do nothing. They did that to me last year. Iv noticed there are a lot of online loan sites that arnt legit. The only ones I find are legit is the ones with numbers to a customer service agent. Someone you can actually talk to. Plaingreenloans.com is one of them. Very good ppl there. Don't share your info.

This number has called me a couple of times in the last few days.
So I decided to Google it, and I found a couple of sites with complaints on it.
After reading these posts, I called it back.
It says, "Hi this is Chris Harris, how are you today?"
I just went along with it, and responded "Good, how about you?"
He said, "I'm fine thank you for asking."
He told me he wanted to help me out of "the messy" payday loan debt I have.
He said, "You have $800.00 in pay day loans correct?"
I said "No"...he said, "Ok Bye" and hung up.
Hopefully that's the end of THAT! ;)

called and asked for me by slaughtering my first and last name.  I told them that my number is on the do not call list and NO, I did NOT sign up for anything.  The entire time they were interrupting me and then told me "f*** off bi***" and hung up on me.  This call was followed by 8 "unknown caller" calls with the EXACT SAME BACKGROUND NOISE as the cussing caller.

call your carrier and put that number on a blocked list. even landlines have that available, as long as you have a ten digit number you can call your carrier and have them block it from your line.

I am continually being harassed by this number.

Call at all hours

I have also been getting calls from this number they have even been calling at work! I answered yesterday and they were telling me I owe a cash America loan like $800! This is some total bull s***. Threatening me that they will be coming to my work Friday and I will be taken to court and all this crap!? I was freaking out!

I just got a call but I didn't answer, I sent it to voicemail. These people have been calling everyday since Friday. How do I make them stop calling me?

I've been getting harassed by these people pretty much non-stop for the past two weeks.  It's the same bot voice, and no want to actually request them to stop calling.  I've filed a "Do not call" complaint and had to actually block the number to get any peace.

Same Chris Harris robot message. Again I wonder how they got my number since it is unlisted and belongs to Hitachi.

Got same call as described here. I got the Green Tree loan company fake call at 8:34 now this one all automated. The 'robot' hung up on me though.
