hello!i had also a boyfriend named WILLIAM FOSTER.he was from UK,his mother lived in netherland while his dad was a turkish.he told me that  he's a architectural engr.,and hopefully we will meet this month of May 2013.he always e_mailed me and called me on the phone since march to may 5.he told me that he is now in malaysia to get the money where his late father was working(petronas),he was asking for help to send him 100 thousand.but  thanks god i no money at that time,after 3 days he was asking me to send him even if its only 40 thousand so that the money of his late father will be given to him if he will give the agent's  5% share...hahaha!!its good to be poor all the time.I dont know if he's fake not!his email ad is william.foster58@yahoo.com

We got same text info with London address (32 Leabank Square, London,e9 5lr England) & how he's buying gift for in-law crap, in response to an ad for a $650 iPad, but he/she used a different phone number than shown in the other posts here. The number used today is: (341) 458-6091.

These scammers are surely using phone cloning software to make people think it's their numbers, - but I'd bet they are all CLONED PHONE NUMBERS belonging to innocent people, who are completely unaware that their numbers are being used in these scams.

They can also be trying to gather VALID EMAIL ADDRESSES to use in scams, so beware of sending yours out. You can CREATE A NEW ONE JUST FOR ONLINE SALES.

Also, for your protection, DO NOT CLICK ON ANY LINKS these people send you.


The email address they used today is: BABYJERRY331@gmail.com.

If you want, you can report the information on every web site like this one; report the email addresses to the providers; and email the info to the FBI for their records. They've got a long list of these things, but the more details they have, the more creeps they may be able to STOP. It's up to us to help put these folks out of business.

I posted a jeep for sale in Canada and right away someone replied. He went by the name Nicholas Kellerman. He texted me saying " Is this Vechile available for sale"  and gave me his email address......nicholaskellerman101@yahoo.com    We then traded emails back and forth and I told him there was another interested party. He then offered me more than the asking price and asked for my paypal info.  This triggered suspicion and i googled his number and this site came up. He didnt get me but watch out.

I just got a text asking for the "best price" on my car for sale in Alberta on kijiji, where all the information is listed. It asked to email it to nicholaskellerman101@yahoo.com  I texted back, it is not available to scammers.

I received a text message in reply to my truck add on kijiji in Alberta Canada. it asked if my truck was for sale (obviously?) and what my lowest price would be. It also said not to reply or call but to email this information to his personal email at nicholaskellerman101@yahoo.com. So i replied with my lowest price and my cell number to give me a call. I received a reply saying he was wiling to pay this price, through paypal and he cannot come view the vehicle due to a work schedule. He also said i need not worry about a title transfer or shipping requirements as he would instruct the shipping company to handle all of that. i found this quite odd as he was wanting to buy a vehicle without any real information or coming to look at it. since he wanted it shipped, i decided to look up the number to see where it is from and i found all this information on how this is a scam. so i told him i will not ship my vehicle and this is a cash price. I also added i knew this was a scam and i'm not stupid enough to ship my truck to someone who knows nothing about it. Ive never used paypal and now i dont think i ever will!

Yep, I got the exact same thing Jessica. When I looked up the area code, it said it was supposed to belong somewhere from Illinois. Just texting only, or send an asking price to his personal email. He now says he is in England, and wants to pay using paypal only. Of course it's a scam. Wish I would have known sooner. Darn scam artists!!! The phone number was (815)714-9623.

I posted my car on kijiji.ca in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada to sell it. I recieved a suspicious text message from +1 815 714 9623 on Monday 30 January 2012 at 9:50 AM . The message was: "Is this vehicle still available for sale?, pls send me your best price to my personal e-mail...nic_kellerman@yahoo.co.uk"

I have a vehicle listed on Kiijii in Calgary and I received a text message asking if it was still available and to send him the best price to his personal email which ended in @yahoo.co.uk which to most people would seem suspicious.  I know it is because there are so many scammers out there that send you odd messages especially email and text and only want to scam you out of money using paypal and/or shipping agents such as Western Union.  To all sellers out there don't fall for it!!!!

Same thing just happened to me today. I am selling a Sony projector on CL and he asked the same question ... What is your last price? He was going to send it to his brother in Africa... I asked him to come and see the projector and he said he was in rehab and can only txt..

Same deal.  Got a text on Craigslist car for sale.  Haven't heard back after I requoted same price as on the listing.

I recieved several texts from this number with regards to a truck we had listed on craigslist. In the first text he told me 'I will like to know if this vehicle is still available, i have a keen interest in buying it and what is the final price?'  He also wanted to know if this was my first time selling on CL because he said this was his first time buying anything on CL.  A day later he text me and said 'I will like to buy this vehicle as a company staff vehicle to United Kingdom i will be paying you through paypal Am new to online buying and i will like to give it a trial and i will let you know that i won't be able to come for the pick up myself so i will be sending my shipper to come for the pick up and also the price of the vehicle is okay by me Please try to get back to me, Please do get back to me with your home address where the item will be picked up.'  
Of course we weren't dumb enough to fall for this scam.  But unfortunately their are a lot of people who do otherwise he wouldn't be doing this.

I am tryin to sell my truck on CL and this jack*** almost got me. He pulled the ( i'm in the military cant make phone calls) but thru text messages and e-mail that just didnt seem right i searched the number and here i am suspition confermed...... BE AWARE this time he used the name STEVEN LOUISE @ YAHOO.COM he neededs to be burnt and all other scamin pices of s**t....

He got me too claiming to be working so much that he could only text, and not receive calls. I sent him my laptop, because he sent me fake "Paypal" emails saying that the payment was pending and I had to sent shipping confirmation first. He used the name William Foster, and his email was william.foster77@yahoo.com. He is good, and is from Nigeria.
