Sold Prairie Gold meats for last five years.  Our entire family eats all their products.  Completely happy!  Keep in mind not every person selling these cases does so w integrity.  The meat is good if it is taken care of and kept cold.  I have freezer w inverter to keep plugged in and cold.  I also give valid contact info and stand by what I sell!!

That's a bit much. My local meat market sells 25 pounds of beef for $100 and is far more reputable than a "business" that spams an internet forum.

That said, aside from Schwan's, why in the world would you buy meat from a questionable source ? That's just begging for food poisoning.

2 to six voice mails a week from riverside school who knows where

Have received at least 20 calls in past 2 months from a school in Riverside? Eating up my minutes with voicemails I cant delete! Make it stop!!! Someone owes me money!

repeat calls no response

People continue to call and want me to respond asap. Anyone who does not identify who they are and reason for call can take a giant leap as far as I'm concerned. They have left about 6 calls in last two weeks. Hope the employer is paying them well for wasting their company time because I have no intention of replying. They can take a flying leap as far as I'm concerned.

I received 8 calls from 816-225-0010 on July 2, 2012.  I did not answer since they are not in my phone.  And only those who have my number are in my phone.  My phone is not entered anywhere online so this number is just randomly calling people or my cell phone company has been hijacked and they did not tell their customers.

Sounded as if it said "Police Department."  Then said to press 1 to charge $9.99 to my account for 15 minutes of talking time.

We swallowed the bait an bought a box of Prairie Gold meat from a local peddler.   He provided us with a bull story about selling at costs.   When we got the box in the house and opened it there was much less meat and even at his BS reduced price was over $10 per pound.   Can buy pretty decent steaks at the local market for that.  

When we cooked it everyone got sick.   Called the county health service and reported them.  Found out they weren't licensed to sell meet in the county.  

These guys are like ghosts nothing tracable.   Business cards don't lead to web page.

I paid 250.00 for 6 small boxes 55 cuts of steak from Halverson's black angus meats the box says from praire gold meats. i try to call the saleman back to ask a question he doesnt pick up phone. I have not try the meat yet I hope its good.

You are all wrong... Every one of those "meat men" are just salesmen that get cases of beef for 90$ a  case.... then they sell it for 100's. i was a meat man and we were trained to say  "WHATEVER  it took to get your dollar. THE MEAT IS JUST THE TRASH LEFT OVER FROM BUTCHERING.  It is cut to look pretty and sold out of our freezer on the back of our  pickup. All of the brocures and even the offices are fake. go ahead and try to visit one! its just a old a** wearhouse with a 15ft cooler i'm sure. all the Grissle and tough s*** your eating is actually rawhide....lmao

They call several times a day.  There is always one new voice message when they call, however no messsge, just a phone tone.  Pain in the butt since it takes time to check voice messasges and delete.  The company needs to stop calling.
