You stated that the lady helping you was very nice. That's probably because you, likewise, were very nice and patient with her. I wish more people would react to bothersome phone calls as politely as you did. If we, receiving the calls, could just remember that those making the calls are not intending to bother anyone, they are merely doing their job. My husband abruptly hangs up on people when he receives calls such as these. And you're right...it has GOT to be an awful job answering these lines. Let me just thank you for being so kind to that lady, who, as you discovered, was just a very nice person doing a very difficult job. God bless you, my friend.

I received several calls from this number stating they had a business proposal for someone I did not know. I called them back during daytime hours and a very nice lady answered. She asked for the number the calls were coming in on. I gave it to her and she said there was no record for that number. She then asked if I had another number that was perhaps forwarded to the first number. I thought that was very insightful of her to ask as that is exactly what I had, my police department cell phone was forwarded to my personal cell phone. She said my police cell was the one they were calling. She made a note in the system that it was not the phone of the person they were calling to collect debt from and that I should not get anymore calls from them. She was very nice, I can't imagine what an awful job answering that line must be.

calling me asking for someone who had this number 4 years ago...ask to be removed from their calling list....they keep calling.....when the answering machine answers will not leave a message..

I get calls from this number all the time, asking for someone I never heard of. The funny thing is, I have had this cellphone number for over 10 years!!
