I just went online and typed in payday loan. I received a ton of offers right off the bat; however, I believe that is how I started receiving these suspicious call, so I would be careful.

not sure then. I have received calls too. With threatening remarks. But I have not done what they are saying. Which is confusing. I believe they obtained my info when I applied for a payday loan on-line. When I called the Payday loan company they said to disregard that other people have been getting these calls too and it is a scam to try to get money from you; however, I do not know that for sure
