Received call.  Hung up as I answered.

Keep getting this caller.  Most nights.  Dead silence, then it disconnected.  I tried calling it back but I get a nothing.

Call came on a secondary line that usually gets the telemarketers. Dead silence before I said our company name (I usually wait a second) and then a recording that said, "If you are accepting Visa..." and I hung up.

Numerous, consistant calls to my home phone, silence - nothing - nobody there. Apparently scum of the earth telemarketers, it's sickening!!! Anyway called the # 800-514-1363 and requested to be removed from the madness. Thanks for the #

Thanks for this info and the 800 number to call.  I contacted them and they were friendly and polite and put my number into their do not call list.  Problem solved.  Thanks!

What ever you do, don't enter your phone number or press any digits that these calls may request.  It's happening way to often where telephone numbers are being used to re-route calls.

One of the newest scams going on is the using of individual names to make it appear as a person instead of a business is calling.   Then there's the Wireless Calling and Wireless Service bs too.

Does the "do-not-call" lists work?  NO!  Just more fodder for the lunatics, it's just like the un-soliciated commercial emails that show up and the hidden adds that never get read (probably paid by the click ads most likely).

I began getting calls from 816-389-2609. The same thing happens when I answer or try to call back. It comes up as Telephone Manag(er)

they've called the last 5 days, usually at 12:30 PM or so.  When I answer, they disconnect.

They called it was a recorded message about credit cards, I called the call back number on this site and talked to an opprated who didn't want to let me speak to anyone above her. I told her they were calling a multifplexed data communications t1 line, and that they were interfering with federally regulated voice data transmittles, needless to say i was able to speak with
someone and be taken off their list and their afflites list as well

Received 4 calls from 816-389-2609 starting from Monday 08/20/2007 between 12:48 PM CDT and 1:38 PM CDT.  One voice mail was a message from Chelsea about so-called complimentary vacation tickets and to call back 800-979-3092.

1. Call 800-514-1363 to be removed.
2. Do not call back or pick up immediately, as it will probably just add the times you are known to be at home to their database, for the 'prequalification' mentioned above.
3. If you are really mad and know how to do so, set up automated calling or fax broadcast to repeatedly deluge their 800 numbers.

I usulay don't pick up "out of area code" to avoid telemarketers.
They don't leave a message, but continue to call back.
IF you pick up one of the calls and get no answer it is just one of those "prequalify" calls. They WILL be calling at about that time of day (when they presume that you are reachable, and will pick up) but from DIFFERENT phone number.
There is no honor in the telemarketing game.

I get a call from 816-389-2896 about every day from one to three times and they've never left a message. They've called about thirty to forty times.

I finally picked up and there was no answer.

How do I stop this?

Recorded message to leave name and number for merchant credit card processing. Left them a message to $#&*% my #$*& and to *%$!#$...

If these guys are telemarketers, they suck at it

We've had 10 people from our office called by this nubmer so far this morning.  I get a fast busy when I attempt to call them.

This number shows up on my office phone.  No one on the other end. They call a lot and never leave a message.  I do not pick up.  Too many scams!

When I answered the call they hung up. When I return the call it rings busy. I got my first call minutes after contacting a car dealer in Oklahoma. This is an Oklahoma area code. I was wondering if anyone else called the same car dealership as I did before getting those mysterious calls.

calls every day to both my business and fax lines and to my home phone, recorded message from "Chelsea". I finally called the number she left to complain about all of the phone calls. Was told by a very rude man that they only call once a day "so get it right, lady." When I told him to transfer me to his supervisor he transferred me to a recorded message. I called back and he called me "stupid." Still don't know if I'm off their call list. I guess I'll wait for my 3 phone calls today...

I received a call from this number.  The caller hung up on me.  I called back and got a recording, asking me to leave a message, but it did not identify the caller.

The name "TRAVEL LLC" comes up on my caller ID. When I called the number back the phone just rings for a long time and then a recording asks you to please enter the 10 digit number you are calling. Once I did that it that number is incorrect and just keeps repeating that. Who is this calling?
