Asked for a name, and when told he had the wrong number, actually asked me if I knew this person. Give me a break! Caller ID was "Unknown Name".

A Nick Sanchez called me tuesday and asked for the spelling oif my name and home address, and said he had some personal information for me. I told him it sounded like a crank call, have a nice day, and hung up.
A Nick sanchez called me again today and asked for the same thing. I told him I am not interested in speaking with you, do not call me again.
If anyone has a line on where I might find Nick sanchez, lET ME KNOW, i WOULD LOVE TO KICK HIS AS IN FOR HIM.

United Recovery Systems. I called back, spoke with a woman who promised to remove my number from her list. This is a chump-fishing expedition by tele-crooks.

I called them back after no voice mail was left they put me on hold with funeral home music and then I called back they told me it was a wrong number but United Recovery Services or Systems was their name.
They did not seem any worse than any other collection company to me except after listening to their on hold music I wanted to kill myself.

Just found out that there are at least two collection companies that go by the name URS: 1) United Recovery Systems and 2) United Resurce System. I also read that United Recovery Systems is a particularily slimmy collections company (but then again, aren't they all?)

Asked for *name*...I told the gentleman she was not in the office today and offered him to leave a voicemail message with her. Instead he asked if she was the owner of the company. I then ask who he was calling from and he replied "URS". When I asked for further explanation of what that company was (as it did not ring a bell), he explained that it was United-something...I unfortunately can not recall the rest of the name. I then transferred into the voicemail of *name*, figuring if he really had any legite business to do, he would be more than happy to leave his contact info with the lady who was out of the office. After a minute or two, he called right back. I belive this is some sort of telemarketer, as he did not know much about who he was trying to contact and seemed hesitate about saying who he was calling with...He did not identify himself upfront...I had to press him for info.

Received call from a local number then was transferred to a out of state bill collection agency who informed me that I was to send the money to his collection agency not the company that the money was due.
