Lawsuit 2011-06-06 21:07:38 Unknown
I believe this is the same people that called me in autumn of 2007.
They called over 100 times. I reported every call to the do not call registry
all 100 calls and Nothing ever happened.
They do try to hide their number. First they called with 949
then they called 100 times with 954-100-0001. Which I think is a Fake number.
They wanted to sell me internet downloads. Which is a Scam.
Read the 949 on 800 notes. Some interesting info there.
Im ready to gather my evidence and File a Lawsuit against them
at my local court. Since this crosses State Lines, Why not make the
Lawsuit FEDERAL. Im ready to Sue now.
They called my Cell phone today and I dont know how
they got the number!

I've had this number call my phone numerous times and i get the same message evrytime saying "This is your final notice that your warranty is about to expire on your vehicle" then somehow they started calling my work! When I call the number back I get a message service that says to press one if I would like to be added to the DO NOT CALL LIST and then it hangs up. I called back and finally got an answer, I spoke to someone named Justin and when I asked him how he got my number he told me that I gave that number out and he didnt give me a chance to finish my question. He said Who the hell are these people?
Neo 2011-06-06 21:07:38 Unknown
Same message "2nd notice ..."
Melissa Jones 2011-06-06 21:07:38 Unknown
I did not answer
Anonymous 2011-06-06 21:07:38 Unknown
It called me on my cell, I didn't answer.
Seeing from what other people wrote, the car message is fake because I don't even own a car.
HH 2011-06-06 21:07:38 Unknown
This # also call me, I did answer, totally silent. Could this people steal your line like using your minutes whenever you pick up? Then this will lead you to use up your cellphone minutes?
celph 2011-06-06 21:07:38 Unknown
Caller was Josh Cantrell from 949-256-9174
The warranty on your vehicle has expired. I don't even own a vehicle
Tried to sell vehicle warranty "my vehicle" never specified or confirmed what I actually drive
Stupid call wasted my one minute.
I believe AT&T/TMobile and all fo the phone Companies are resposible for these calls. I have a Go Phone which only cost on the days it is used. which is $1.00
Caller ID: 949-256-9174
Caller: Josh Cantrell
Caller Type: Telemarketer

Told them I was not interested and as I was telling them to remove my number from the list, they hung up. I have told them to remove me from the list three times already.

Oh happy days ! I just got my first call from this number . thought it would never happen . I was beginning to think there was something wrong with me .
It felt good to ignore them .
Ryan 2009-03-17 21:20:39 Telemarketer
Got a call from this number on my cellphone selling auto warranties, I pressed 1 for an agent to get their do not call policy and was prompty hung up on. I called back and you get the automated message about being added to their DNC list.
Did a little research....
CPN belongs to Digitcom Services, Inc.
I used their form to find the number is leased to "Telephone Management CallerID LLC" at 2331 SW 5th Ave Portland,OR 97201-6303
I asked for their clients name who was using that number, he confirmed it was a marketing company but wouldn't divulge a company name or do not call list. I warned him the activity he was defending was illegal and that I would be happy to list them on my FCC complaint/lawsuit and he said go ahead and subpoena the address out of them.

This call is coming in on my cell number. That costs me money. Bad enough when they call the house, but at least its a free incoming call.
kelly 2009-03-09 17:35:39 Telemarketer
telemarketer selling extended car warrenties. 'final' notice and all that. I pressed the button to be added to their 'do not call' list. We'll see how that works.
I get these types of calles almost daily on my cell phone, although never the same number. Annoying as my cell is a work number and therefor I only use it for that and only give it out to work people.
sam 2009-02-28 20:54:33 Unknown
called back and found its a telemarketer
Ken 2009-02-27 16:57:31 Unknown

This number along with 954-100-0001 called me over 100 times
in Autumn of 2007. Now they are calling me again, on my cell phone too.
How did they get my cell phone number?
I REPORTED THEM TO THE DO NOT CALL REGISTRY OVER 100 TIMES
And NOTHING happened. They wanted to sell internet downloads
which I know is a Scam. Now they are calling again.
Im ready to Sue them. Im ready to file a suit against them
at my Local court. They can settle out of court with me or not show up
and I win by default because they didnt show up.
I doubt they would show up because its 1000's of miles away.
but still Im filing and it will be On Their Record!

The idea here is to get your attention with what I believe to be automated random calling, hoping that you will return the call in order to fish you into a lengthy conversation, or sales pitch that will hold you on the phone long enough to rack-up a hefty profit. Multiply that with hundreds of thousands of calls per annum and what have you got?

Re: 1-949--2569
Area code 949 is an area code in California that is contained mostly within the southern areas of Orange County. It is a "Premium-rate telephone number".
"Computer criminals have used premium-rate numbers to defraud unsuspecting Internet users. These calls have now been extended to Canada, and owning a cell phone offers NO immunity. One scheme involved inducing users to download a program known as a dialer that surreptitiously dialed a premium-rate number, accumulating charges on the user's phone bill without their knowledge." The service is offered by PayPerCall.com, et al. These 900 numbers will automatically bill callers to their telephone bill thus turning these calls into profits. It is a scam which constitutes FRAUD!
It seems clear that PayPerCall.com and similar corporate or private entities or service providers have unwittingly insinuated themselves into a 'FRAUD CONSPIRACY', before and after thye fact. WATCH OUT!

Don't bother, I think it's the feds, looking to f*** with people who haven't done anything wrong. It's why we pay taxes.
Are your cell phones pre-paid? Mine is.
Did you give the phone co any contact info? I didn't.
Here's a msg for the feds - I only answer my phone if my job is calling, the reason for that is YOU, the government, has f****d with me too many times
