Ok, look here guys there is no need bitching about your credit cards apr, if you would have taken the time to read your contract you would have known damn well what you were getting yourself into. I know people run into hard times its a fact of life, but keep in mind if you call a credit card company demanding they lower your apr, you will be told NO. Take the time and explain what is going on to the adgent, and for Christ sake don't get pissed off  if they can't help you. I promise its not personal, if they tell you that can't do something, chances are they can't so don't ask twenty f****ng times.. you will get the same answer from them and their boss. Your best bet is to ask them nicely what you should do. If you do these I can assure you they will point you in the right direction. And  to all you dumb a***s that are ignoring the calls, it will do you no good. Simply pick up the phone answer all the questions they ask, or just let them know a date, time, and place you will pay your bill. You will be shocked when your phone don't ring after that. And if your just a straight up dead beat and don't want to pay your bill, tell them to give you a fax number to fax in your written request to stop the calls. There is a little thing called fair debt collections practices, and I can ensure you Citi does follow them my.friends.. you all just need to pull your head out of your a***s and take some f****ng ownership rather than blaming everyone for your mistakes

Asking about my credit cards with CITI Bank and my personal information and treating to do all sorts of things to me.

i get 3-5 calls a day from this garbabe number 816-420-1168; have been for about one month. i dont have any citi accts and when i call the number back it says citi and universal at&t accts. coiincidentally this all started when i switched from At&t cell service to Sprint. would love to have them put away. very very annoying.

It is citi cards. What I don't understand is 1 why I keep getting this phone call at 11:30 am every day, 2 I don't have any pending payments, and 3 even if you answer the phone and does not go to voice mail it still says the same "sorry we could not speak to you.. blah blah blah". It is strange. Does anybody understand this?

Been getting five calls a day from this number.

They called me today (sunday) at least 3-4 times, that has to be illegal! I tried to block their 2 numbers on my cell phone but they still managed to leave a voice message. Does anyone know if they can legally call on a Sunday?

They can call you at the times they are open for business,and since they are open 7 days a week you will get a call. Also, that is the number you gave them to open up a charge card or any kind of account with them. What they are calling about is to collect payment for past due accounts and they want an over the phone payment.

When I picked up phone and said"hello" it hung up.

i have a citicard, but I haven't used it in the past year...I get emails saying my account balence is $0. I call back and its a machine wanting me to enter my credit card number...seriously? you think I'm that stupid???

Have gotten several calls from this number this week.  They (recorded message) say that they are citibank and there is a problem with my account, but I don't have a citi bank card.  Finally got sick of the calls and tried the call back number they leave but of course I can't get through to anyone because I don't have an account number.

I'm active duty and this company has called me like 6 times today and it's not even noon yet!  I know why they're calling me and quite frankley, I don't want to hear about it!  I had my interest rate reduced due to the Soldiers and Sailors Relief Act (before it applied to only deployments) and without notifying me, they upped my rate to 25% and my min payment is now $600!!  I cannot afford that, nor do I have the money to pay them off or else I would just to get rid of them!!  I'm still paying them every month...so they need to leave me alone!

I am also on a payment plan and yet they call me all the time. I set up a plan and two months later they called again to try and set one up, they hadn't put it into the system yet and so more money and interest piled up and they wouldn't take it off. I am so fed up with these people calling all the time. They are getting my money so it needs to stop.

received numerous calls, prerecorded message from Citi and ATT.  No card, did not try to apply...  I called back and they asked for my account and/or SSN ???  wtf?  simply told the operator to stop calling, put me on the no call list.  I was told to provide my name and address so the 'system' would not send me mail too wtf???  Spoke with some supervisor, she wanted my name, my FULL name to start with.  I said again, I just want my number to be placed on the no call list.  Nope, can't do it, unless I give her my full name...  file a complaint form on the FCC website.

I too get constant calls from this number. However, when you call the number back, it says that you have called Citi Card and AT&T. Oddly enough, this company doesn't even know how to spell Citi. I have an account with Citi card, and it's an up-to-date account. I called them, they are not calling from this number 816-420-1169 AND the credit card company doesn't spell their name as C i t y.

i got same number of calls, finally called back, and had late payment waived.  their interest rates are also generally less than all competitors (chase, etc.).  jesus, if you're really pissed pick up the phone and tell them not to call anymore...you gave them your number when you signed up for the card...

Not ever late,,,always on time. Great credit score.
Watch the interest rate climb, we would never do business with these bums again.

It was citi. I called the direct line to citi to see if I has missed a payment or if they had been trying to get ahold of me. They wanted to see if I wanted to reopen my account. Not sure why they didn't send a letter. Kept calling I called them back again. Talked to them for about 5 minutes haven't heard from them since... Probably computer generated phone calls

I've been called 3 times today. No messages. No answer. WTF

My credit card was stolen.  It took Citibank 2 months to get me the Affidavit to complete.  I've called them once a week for 2 months with updates, and now they doubled my interest rate (after their rep told me not to pay anything until the dispute was settled) and now they are calling me nonstop at work for collections.  Its been 10 days since I sent the affidavit back and they still don't show it as being received.  

The best part was I got the first collections call on a Saturday at home and the woman told me that she could do nothing about the calls (though I clearly had been told not to pay) because its an auto-dialer and its pre-programmed.

Everytime I called CB to check on my claim, I get sent to a collections agent that then has to send me over to customer service after I cuss them out.

They finally fixed my interest rate, and sent a written confirmation.  Its ridiculous to have to go through this non-sense because some punk a** little boy at Wendy's took my card and went on shopping spree to feed his friends.

Yes they are calling but it helped me actually because i am always on time and I didnt know it was past due. I actually mailed in a check and it never made it. They called and I made a payment over the phone and they advised I stop payment on the check that I sent previously. I was glad because they waived my late fees and they said my APR didnt default but if it had they would have put it back down because it was just an error not on my part. They will work with you when you dont cuss them out.

well i was late on a bill with citi and they were more than willing to help me, maybe if people werent rude and told them to kiss there a***s they would work with you, they note everything you say..duh!
