David Mitchell calling my house contuniously saying my sons going to jail possibly prision he has a warrant for him.. how does he get all this information on people, like social secerty #, car plate #, where he works, current address.. saying theres a $5000 cash bond.. State police are out lookin for that plate number if pulled over going straight to jail. Does anyone know what can be done about this scare tactic. we have even went as far as calling our local police departments and even the state police department.??

Got a call from this man name David Mithell said that he's going to arrest my mother because of a suppose to bad check  and has been calling all of my family saying things like this, a 5000 cash bond can someone tell me what to do. Was called by David Mitchell who said I needed to post $5000 bond, and I would be arrested on my job.  He frightened my children by telling them I would be picked up.  This man scared the hell out of us.  Yes. I wrote a check to a payday loan co. And could not pay it.  I'm making a payment because I can't afford to be charged with felony and lose my job.  Mitchell said I need to agree to a payment plan allowing for withdrawals from my back account.  I afraid to give him my bank info, but I know he will say charges will be brought against me. Got a phone call from David Mitchell fraud dept regarding a family member to press charges for a bad check and the use of my social security number . This has caused alot of family issues. Tried phone number to call David MItchell back to ask more questions and got this is a spint cell phone number. If you are with a credit collections agency then state the truth not lies you are being a fraud and should be held accountable for this.

Well, Anyone who writes a check knowing they do not have the funds available to cover the cost of the check in their bank account is doing so fraudulently. This is illegal, and can be punishable with prison time, as well as fines. If a person writes a bad check, the creditor or bank institution will notify them, and they will need to make restitution to avoid any legal issues

Told my parents, whom I haven't lived with in 22 years that I wrote a bad check in 2007 from a bank that's been out of business since 2004. Told them a warrant was issued for my arrest  and I was going to jail. Here's the thing, it's against the law for whoever this was to discuss that kind of info with  anyone other than me. Second of all, no one is going to call u to tell someone u may or may not know, that u have a warrant out for ur arrest. Third, he said he was an investigator named David Mitchell - and it was a long distance number, not from the local police dept. Sounds like a desperate bill collector using scare tactics and performing am illegal act. No company name is also suspicious. Guess they think people are stupid. Funny thing is, when I find out what company he was.calling for, they're.the ones that will be doing time, not me.
