With persistent callers that leave messages for other people on my phone (my VM explicitely states MY name so they should know better) I have resorted to calling the number provided and leaving my own message stating, "That individual is not at my number, and if I receive a phone call for this person again I will report the company for harassment." The calls always stop immediately. I have never been able to flat out block them. :/ Hope this suggestion helps.

This  number has call numerous times claiming to be from a medical alert company. The message say that they are calling to confirm delivery of my medical alert system (the "I've fallen and can't get up type) that has been completely paid for. I have never ordered such a system nor do I want or need one. I have spoken to an actual person 4 times and told them this and that my number is on the do not call list. They keep calling as early as 7am and as late a few times as 10pm. When I try to call back I get a recording that this is a number that has been disconnected. I want these calls stopped. It has actually irritated me to the point that I would rather take my chances on a fall than to have one of these systems.

Tell me how to block this caller robot....it calls constantly, even tho I'm on no call list, federal and state.
Does anyone know what company this is?

The person calling says they want to schedule delivery for the "medical equipment" I ordered.  He says it is paid for by my insurance.  Won't take no for an answer.  I don't need nor have I ordered any medical equipment.  I told him at least four times please don't call again.  I get another call in a few days.  They never say the name of the company.

06-04-2013 @ 8:50 PM, 816-666-7575, UNKNOWN NAME = These idiots just called again for third time.  Stupid SOB's never give up.  Wife took call and listened, then handed the phone to me, but I couldn't hear too much of what the man was saying because she kept talking to me.  Something about "Life-Alert", and said it was already paid for, but they needed to schedule a time to deliver it.  How could it be paid for when I didn't order it?  SCAMMER ALL THE WAY!   They also called on 05-18-2013 @ 2:12 PM, and 05-30-2013 @7:34 PM.  When you see that number, best thing to do is just let it ring until they quit.  The damn DNC listings are nothing but a joke.  I'm on every State & Federal DNC list, and NO MAIL list I know of, but these a***oles keep calling.  One trick I've started doing is to press the # key while they're talking, which produces a very loud, annoying beep each time you press it.  You can hold it down continuously, and it will produce one long beep if desired.  I guarantee they'll hang up in 15-20 seconds when you do it.  Sometimes I even play them a little tune until they hand up.

SCAMMER ALL THE WAY!  My prescriptions are delivered by the USPO and they NEVER call to schedule a time for delivery since it's already on their route.  Best thing to do is just ignore them.  Or, sometimes I will listen for awhile then start pressing the # key on the phone, which produces a very annoying beep each time you depress the # button.  After 10-15 seconds, I guarantee they'll hang up on you.  Some times I even play them a little tune.  I'd still like to stick a double barrel shotgun up their butts and pull both triggers.

Same calls as reported above.  Scammers.  Do not answer such calls and do not call back the numbers.  I get calls everyday such as above.  If you block a number, the scammers just use another number and it goes on and on.  Wish someone could come up with a solution that would stop all the scams.

816 666 7575: Report the harassment to your local law enforcement. Your local law enforcement will know how to contact Bandwidth regarding subscriber verification and subpoena compliance.  Bandwidth is claiming it belongs to one of their customers but is not responsible so report the calls to the police in your area.

816-666-7575 was bought by AVID Communications in KC in 2012 but was given to their client Bandwidth.com.  I filed a BBB complaint against AVID and filed a 'Potential AUP Violations' with Bandwidth.com.  You can do that at http://bandwidth.com/resources/legal/policy_violations.html.  The more people who file, the more likely action will be taken.

Just received phone call again from 816-666-7575....Hung up on them....also I am on the "no call" list so don't understand how they are able to do this!

received a call from 816-666-7575 at 8:15 on May 30th.  Caller ID said Kansas City, MO - said something about shipping a free medic-alert - said if we had already received to disregard the call.  Another scam! :(

Caller ID showed V530161953053...  Picked up and no answer. Odd having an 816 area code.

Received a call from this number at 2:23.  Didn't answer, they didn't leave a message. 816 is a local area code but I know how companies like to use randomly generated numbers.  All my bills are current and I'm not trying to be scammed into anything so I never answer calls from unknown people.

I just received the call on 911 weds 5/29. I found this while investigating. I use to work telemarketing and we were never supposed to call after 9pm

Several calls have come in with id's similar to this recently.  We are on the no-call list which hasn't really changed the number of crap calls we receive.  I'm running out of room on my phone by all the crap numbers I have to block.it's just sad.

If you don'y know the caller NEVER PICK UP THE PHONE--NEVER PRESS ANY BUTTONS-NEVER TRY TO CALL BACK.  All of this just puts you on the CALL SOME MORE LIST.  The do not call list is a fraud and does not work,  Think about it--how does the insurance man, the light buld salesman, etc. know he isn't supposed to call you??????????????????????????
The list changes daily and there are 50 state list and a federal list.  The federal list is" FOR SALE" who in the world is going to pay for this list.  Report them all you want to.  If you answer be prepared to get many more calls and if you try to block the number, they have thousands more to call from..  Pressing a button could cost you a ton of non-refundable money.  Calling these scammers back is pure STUPIDITY.  They lnow they got you..  Ignore the calls and NEVER GIVE YOU HOME PHONE OR CELL PHONE NUMBER OUT.  No one other than close friends or hospitals ned your phone numbers.  Otherwuise don't complain about the calls.

This no. called at 9 p.m. Memorial Day night and left no message.  My CID showed "Out of Area".  Want this to stop.

Got a call from this number at 6:36 p.m. on May 23.    I did what I always do when I get a call that's obviously some kind of telemarketer call:   I press "Talk," then quickly press "End," which immediately cuts them off.   If everyone would do this when they see "Unknown" on the caller ID, we could put a stop to this type of call.

Why do we even have a Do Not Call service when it is not enforced?  This number left a voice mail message telling me that someone had paid for me to have Life Alert.  What a joke.  They just needed my name, address to verify this was the correct person to send the device to.  I received this same phone many times, each time a different telephone number.  Please, please monitor these calls and do your job.  Caller I'd showed Kansas City, MO

Office phone took two calls where the other side immediately hung up, all within 10 minutes.

I had a hard time deciding if this was real person or a very clever robocall. I was told that they were ready to ship my medic-alert system that I ordered. I said I had not ordered any such thing. They kept repeating that it was already paid for and shipping was prepaid. All I had to do was press a button to accept it or press a button to decline it. Instead I hung up. Has anybody else pressed either button? what is this all about?

Recorded message "attention senior citizens..."  I reported it as a MO no-call list violation.  Second time in a week from same number.

I wish the MO AG could stop these calls.  Too many automated solicitors considering I'm on the no-call list.  Jack***es!

I received information that the block of numbers starting with 816-666-7 belongs to http://bandwidth.com/.  I filed a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry. I suggest others do the same.
