They have been calling my Grandmother incessantly! She reported it to the phone company, the No Call List, and the Police. No one is able to do anything for her unless she has the name of the people. The police told her not to answer & to call 911 if any suspicious vehicles show up. Everyone has told her that they have gotten plenty of calls about this phone number but are unable to trace it or do anything else without a name. She was told this is a NKC number. How they can know this, but not know the owner or location of the number, I don't know.
The first time they called they told her that they had a free product that someone thought she needed. she asked what it was and they wouldn't tell her the item or the company they worked for. She saw it as a scam & didn't answer after that. She accidentally picked it up (call waiting-no caller id) and they finally told her that it was a Life Alert system. She used to have one, but cancelled it many months before the call. She knew there was a monthly fee to use it, so again, the red flags went up. That's when she started calling around to the authorities. It's unfortunate that they just won't quit calling her, even though they were told no a number of times during those conversations. Maybe with the name from the poster 'Fed Up' - (RNK Medical) - they can do something. Unless it's a false name, which is my bet.
I told her to mention the words, "bombs" "terrorist" "Allah" "sleeper cell" & "Obama"... maybe we can get the FEDs to trace them.

on the caller id it says
v71511410905325
they say i won a sweepstakes free home monitoring device. just have to pay a monthly amount . ask for a credit card. i asked them, i thought it was free? she said well isn't you're life worth a dollar a day? just give me you're credit card number or even the routing number on the bottom of you're checks, you will never miss it.
I feel with this kind of pressure elderly will fall fall for it . They said they got my number because my husband is over 55. So it is obvious they are targeting the elderly. I also believe you can get this service cheaper than $34 a month with other companies.

i am getting calls from this company incessantly. They leave a message on the machine about having a Lifeline type of product ready to ship me. Major scam for seniors. I've reported to the appropriate agency.

With a telephone number prefix like 666, what can you expect but a scam from guess who?

Calls at least 3 times a day and just hangs up. When I call back says number is disconnected. How does a disconnected or no longer in service number call you 3 times a day??

I just discovered the benefit of google search :) I'm also on the no call list ( I thought). my rule is: If I don't know the # I don't answer. (sometimes when I do know the # I do the same. Just cuz the phone rings doesn't mean you gotta answer.) I may be a senior but I wasn't born yesterday. These kind of people will always be out there. Kinda like cockroaches. You can only do your best to keep them out of your house.

The must have called me right after they called Lori--on the 4th of July holiday. I answered because I wasn't on a phone with caller ID. It was a guy and he talked fast. Same scam about the medical alert system was already paid for by a friend or family member. They wanted to set up the delivery. I kept trying to ask questions and he just kept talking and talking and talking. It didn't sound like a recording. I hung up on him.

They called the evening of 4th of July. We didn't answer the call because we didn't recognize it. I cannot offer any more info, since we did not answer. I guess next time, I should answer to see what they want and who they are. Why would any company call on a holiday? Suspicious right there!

They called and asked for "Frank". I said, "Frank who?". They responded with my former last name. I told them that he has been dead since 2000. Dumb bimbo said, "oh", and hung up. Not only are they scammers, they are trying to contact dead people! LMAO

Same as lots of others. I didn't answer and they hung up on my answering machine.

This call was on my caller id on my home phone when I came home tonight. Called the number and the number is no longer in service. Less than two hours later, and the number is no longer in service - tells me this is a scam call.

They called me at 5:30 pm on my home phone. I did not answer. They hung up on my answering machine.
| JA 2013-06-27 10:49:08 Unknown |
called my house at 9:00 pm. Did not answer and did not leave a message. I am on the do not call list and don't understand why I get calls like this.

*****_SCAM ALERT!!!!_*****
ABOUT THEM: "RNK Medical" _claims_ to be giving away the Medical Alert System as seen on TV where the elderly woman uses it to report that she's "fallen and can't get up". They ask for personal information such as name and residence address. This can be _VERY_ dangerous!!!!!!!
WHAT TO DO: Play along to gather information about the call. Do NOT give them ANY of your information!!! Instead, give them false information or none at all if you can get by with it. Once you've gathered all the info you can, give that information and the information about the call to your state's Attorney General - Consumer Fraud Division and every one of your local TV News Stations. Our Seniors need our protection!
| Pissed 2013-06-21 16:56:26 Unknown |
They say they want to install a "help I've fallen and can't get up" security system in your home. and its already paid for! Whoohoo!!! can you say scam?
