Same number texted me about a craigslist add using the name smith johnson and wanted me to set up a paypal account when told I couldn't he asked for address email full name etc. I just replied back and told him I know that he trying to scam me.

This a-hole offered to pay me $200 more for my craigslist item than what I was asking for. Can anyone say RED FLAG! Wanted me to give send my Paypal address and photo. The scam is, they send money to you Paypal account, you ship your item. Suddenly, the item is never received, or arrives damaged, they complain to Paypal who will freeze your accounts and give them their money back and you are out of your item.
Ha! told him to f*** off.
He uses phone number (816) 834-9110 and uses the name "Smith Johnson" to reply to Craigslist ad. Beware of this scam.

These are africans who are running scams. They found one of my items on Craigslist and pretended to be paypal and sent me a false email stating that my account has their money transfer pending and that it will completely go through once I ship off the items to Nigeria and send them the tracking number.
