Found a half intelligible voicemail that instructed me to call a different number asap..  

I'm not aware of anything I'd have under the Americredit umbrella, if THAT's who it is???

I continue to receive calls from 817-237-2446. This is annoying! No message, No Response.

These people keep calling me everynight! No answer when I pick up and I am on the Do Not Call List. How do I get them to stop?

this is my job number.  when i pick up, they start a fax transmission.  no name on the caller id, just this number.

Same here - fax caller -- they've been calling for several weeks... I try calling back but get busy signal...

I get this call about 3x a day and it is a fax. If I do not answer it I have a 5 minute VM with nothing but fax handshakes. Getting real tired of it.

I see that these wardialer calls to my tollfree numbers now has a face.

I have now filed a complaint with the FCC for the abuse of my tollfree numbers.  Thank you for the information.

Illegal telemarketing scam orchestrated by Mr. Mike Maxi of Texas. He is harvesting telephone numbers to sell for whatever purpose. That is a reason you got a call that hung up on you -- he is trying to determine if your number is "live" or not.

In the past you got the caller ID number of the person calling you (or they use *67.... which does not work on toll-free numbers) but it seems this opperation has gotten more sophisticated. Now he is forging the caller ID of a phone line with a Panasonic answering machine. Before when you called back the auto-dialer would answer and you could hear it dialing.

Got a call from this number, and they hung up after I answered.  No clue.

left a message but said nothing, then hung up

I answered and called immediately hung up.

I answered but caller immediately hang up.
