Within a couple of hours of buying a toll free number I started to receive what sound like fax calls from 1-817-237-2805.  I blocked that number so they can't call it.  However now they are calling from caller ID: PROTEGE SVCS 1-817-238-7215.  I suppose they will have an endless quantity of outbound phone numbers for me to block.  By the way, absolutely nobody even knows I have this toll free number . . . It's brand new . . . I have not told anyone that I bought the number, yet somehow "PROTEGE SVCS" is calling it and running up my phone bill.

This number, and a string of others, has called us multiple times.  No fax (though, sounds like a fax tone), no one on the phone, no way to look them up or ask them to stop calling.  Filing a Junk Fax 1088 Form with the FCC, recommend you do so as well.
