Fax machine, keeps calling, please stop!

1-817-238-1211 Protege SUC, calls about once a day. leaves a message with a fax tone.  When I've called the number back there's no answer.  I"ve been getting these calls for a couple of months almost daily.

We get at least 2-3 calls a day from an assortment of numbers with 'protege sucs'
on our caller id. It comes through as a fax machine sound when answered. Please block these calls.
  The last number used was 1-817-237-7055

Keep on getting fax from Protege services at the number above...at all
times of day!

Getting a call from this number even at odd hours. It is giving FAX tone. I am reporting them to FTC

I have received a number of calls from 1-817-238-0693, with the Caller ID signiture Protege Sucs.  They attempt to fax to my phone line.

I GOT A CALL AT 6:13 PM EST, SAME S*** DIFFERENT DAY !!! WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO STOP THIS S*** FROM "PROTEGE SUCS",, IT WILL NOT BE SOON ENOUGH FOR ME... WHY DOES OUR GOVT STOP THIS S***. I AM SICK AND TIRED OF THESE PEOPLE CALLING ME AND INSERTING SOME SORT OF COMPUTER SOUND... WOULD, OR COULD OUR GOVT STOP THIS..? I DID NOT HAVE THESE CALLS UNTIL MR. OBAMA TOOK OFFICE... IS HE UP TO THIS? PLEASE STOP THESE ANNOYING CALLS, PLEASE,PLEASE, PLEASE,

I HAVE BEEN GETTING THESE CALLS FOR 3 MONTHS OR LONGER !!! SAME AS ABOVE BUT DIFFERENT TELEPHONE NUMBERS AND AM SICK AND TIRED OF THEM. NOTHING MORE THAN PURE HARRASSMENT !!! WHERE DOES ONE GET THIS FORM 1088 FROM. I HAVE REGISTERED EVERY NUMBER ON THE "DO NOT CALL LIST" TO NO AVAIL THEY KEEP CALLING... OUR GOV'T SURE IS AT WORK, ARN'T THEY !!!

Tired of these calls.  Have filed complaint with FCC but they still keep coming.

This number, and other 940 and 817 numbers, (originating from Texas) have called our business lines multiple times.  No fax (sounds like a fax tone),no way to look them up or ask them to stop calling. Companies affiliated with these numbers are: Affordaphone Inc., Max-Tel Communications, Inc., Alternative Res, Protege Services.  Filing a Junk Fax 1088 Form with the FCC and filing a complaint with the FTC, recommend you do so as well.  The more people who report this, the louder we are, the faster authorities may do something about it.

just fax tone but we get these calls several times a week

same as what I see on your site,, constant fax sound calls, but no way to get thru,  tryed faxing back to that # but to no avail..

fax tones--very annoying--starting to happen once every 3 days or so. I want it stopped.

I'm getting fax machine calls 24/7 and they just won't stop!!!  This has been going on since the summer....I'm filing complaints with the Federal Trade Commission and the FBI..AT&T will not block the calls without money!!!....hmmmmmm..I wonder if AT&T is benefiting financially from so many people paying them fees to block their home numbers...Think about it folks...Who else would benefit from having a fax machine call you 24/7??

Unwanted calls from fax machine.  Calls repeatedly.  Would love to block the call.

Missed the call but a message was left with the sounds of a fax machine.  Whoever you are, you are now blocked.  Have gotten several calls within the past weeks that blare fax machine tones when answered.  Maybe their auto-dialers are sick and dying, can only hope.
