Showed up on my missed calls list. No voice mail left.

Continuing to get calls from Protege Svcs. although the List Builder calls have ceased, thankfully (see above postings).

I have tried many methods to stop the Protege Svcs harassing calls, including contacting the Fort Worth Police Department, my long distance carrier the FCC and AT&T.  I even spoke to the ATT Legal Department about Protege.  I also did my best to locate a listing for this company in Texas, and they do not appear to exist.  It is likely a phony name and the company could be located ANYWHERE.

The ATT rep told me that there is nothing they can do, since we are getting these calls via our small business 800 number. They can only offer to block all of the 817 area code, which is not acceptable to us.

She did suggest that we contact the FCC and file a complaint online, which I have done twice now.  So, I am passing that suggestion on to you.  Please file a complaint online - it is easy to do and takes about 3 minutes.  Here is the page to go to:

File a new complaint for each new number that they call you on, until the FCC database is deluged with complaints on Protege Svcs.  Then, the FCC will take some action, as this is literally a QUANTITY system, where the number of complaints count (just like votes on American Idol, folks).

The ATT Rep says that, based on my description, this company is probably using an automated system to do pooled faxes to check for valid working phone numbers. It makes money by selling your phone number to other companies in turn.

So, she suggested that we be sure to re-register our phone number on the Federal Do Not Call Registry at www.donotcall.gov.  We did that as well.

Also, be aware that if you have an 800 number, you may be paying 4c or 10c per call for each and every call received from Protege Svcs.  So, if anyone can track down this company, we can file a class action suit against them, or at least get the Atty. General of the state in question to do so.

Please file an FCC complaint today.

I emailed OfficeNMoreDepot.com a Cease and Desist notice and got a decent reply back from them, indicating that they would contact the telemarketer and ask them to cease the calls immediately.

If you are getting calls from List Builders with a recording mentioning OfficeNMoreDepot.com, then you should send a similar email to these 3 email addresses, asking for your number to be removed from their call list:

The first email address came from the website's official ICANN listing.  The other two were gleaned from the email replies I received back from them today.

It's fair and legal to email them and ask them to get your number removed from their telemarketer's list.  I was not able to find any info on the telemarketing company - I think the name they are using is phony, which is why nothing shows up, but this other method may yield the same results.

After all, most companies don't want to get fined or sued when their marketing campaign backfires...

Recording hawking an office supplies website with a name that was a takeoff on Office Depot. Call was cut off just as it was getting to the place where it told you how to be placed on their "Do Not Call" list.

We are getting multiple calls from both List Builders and from Protege Services.  These calls started around the same time about 1 month ago.

I have filed two online complaints on the FCC.GOV website, one for each company name.  I recommend that others do likewise, as they will catch up with these telemarketing crooks and fine them for this illegal activity.  Here is the link to file the complaint with the FCC:

The calls from Protege Services sound like an automated fax, but do not actually generate a valid fax message on our fax machine.  They are coming in on these pooled numbers:

We tracked down the website owner of www.officenmoredepot.com.  There is no contact information on the website itself (no surprise there, I guess), but the contact information is as follows:

Ironically, the phone number is DISCONNECTED, but the FAX number is not and goes to a voice mail system.


SUGGESTION:  If you are getting the recorded messages about OFFICENMOREDEPOT.COM, then RETURN the favor by calling the number 940-427-5851 and telling Ms. Kuykendall to CEASE and DESIST from harrassing you with her illegal marketing messages!  It's the least you can do...

Also, file a complaint with the FCC.  Once enough complaints are received, they will act to shut down these bad actors.

These are from last month, calls 2-3 times a week around same time on my 800 number,sounds like fax tones then goes dead.
Caller id says "protege"  or just "Fort Worth tx"
Tried F.C.C. but no luck so far.
F.C.C. form you send in online doesn't allow you to put their number,F.C.C. want copy of fax,which is impossible as cellphone.
I think I might transfer my 800 number for a few days to my home phone/fax then there will be some info on what they are sending.
But do register complaint as they send another form to detail complaint.
Only other thing is to block Texas calls which I can do if all else fails.

a recording called identifying themselves as TG Marketing, trying to sell marketing materials on my cell phone. i'm on the 'do not call' list, so it's a violation. i attempted to call it back, but number is perpetually busy.

Sounded like a fax or data transmissiom with no other identifier. It was received a voice message.

Received a call Mar 28th. Dead air then the guy hung up. This is the second one in a few days. Called my toll free number also

They tried calling my "toll free" (which I pay for) 866 number. Because of these expletives deleted I've blocked Texas from my services, so they got a "can't be completed" response.

I've filed about them, repeatedly, to the FTC. Nothing happens. I've also sent notes to my Congressman asking him to kick the FTC. Nothing there, either.
