Calls everyday as an out of area number. Then calls back as Birch Tele.

Answered call, received digital message that I was being connected to my party.  Hung up at that point!

I have received several calls.  As soon as I answer, the caller hangs up,  I called back and no one answered.  I am listening to a music on my computer and I could hear the music through the phone.  What is that all about??

I added to my junk senders list so I won't worry about missing the call

This number belongs to a subscriber at Birch Telecommunications (http://www.birch.com/About/customer_service_contacts_sw.aspx).  Their customer Service Dept. is at 888-772-4724.  Talk to them, but they refused to help.  Said the problem needed to be resolved by my phone company.

Same circumstances: 1-2 calls a day, hang-up on answering

Same thing happened to me.

Hung up as soon as I answered. (Probably a phishing call.) Tried to call back but number is constantly busy.
