T-shirts are shipped directly to the schools care of their respective Cheer Coaches. In most cases coaches are very cooperative with giving sponsors T-shirts when requested. If you need information on who and when to contact your school for a shirt feel free to give us a call.

I left a contact number on the previous page for any concerned parties to contact us. There's no point in arguing with people or responding to the slanderous remarks from those who have made up their minds that you are a scam. Perhaps they spoke to the wrong individuals at the school, perhaps they never contacted anyone at all. I always invite the calls of concerned current or potential sponsors.

I just got a call from your scam company and checked it out with the High School they told me they were working for.  The school never heard of your company.  I believe you mentioned that you knew this would be fraud!

Legit or not, I've used this company several times to sponsor local high schools.  Each time I've asked for a couple t-shirts for the owners and was told it would not be a problem.  Never received them.  Never received anything to "proof" prior to printing either.  I now have them saved in my phone contacts as "Do Not Answer".  I would much rather receive a local call or visit from the high school representative requesting support vs. an outside vendor.

I am surprised by the negativity in this thread. I did not recognize the number and looked it up here. This company initially made contact with my husband, left him a message from which he made a return call and we decided to do business with them, sponsoring our local high school. The rep was nothing but professional with us, and they did NOT require our credit card up front. She actually told us they would invoice us and we would have six weeks to pay and we would be able to proof the shirt before they were actually printed. We are very happy with our decision thus far.

This is a total scam.  They called trying to get me to sponsor a shirt for the local high school cheerleaders at the high school.  They can say they are legit all they want but fact of the matter it is 100% B.S.

I'm a telemarketer and rude answers only make you look like an a***ole and set you up for harassment by some telemarketer with a grudge and a lot of free time. If you don't like being called by telemarketers disconnect your phone and communicate by smoke signals. People who are rude to telemarketers are the same people who are rude to waitstaff at restaurants... they're the jerks that get their food spit in or worse. I've talked to some of the most wonderful people in the world through telemarketing and some of the biggest a***oles on the globe too. My call had nothing to do with weather they were nice or not, they wore that way before I called. An a***ole is an a***ole is an a***ole no matter who calls them.

If the phone number is different that is calling you then it is another company all together calling you. We only use the one outgoing phone number for obvious reasons. There are at least 4 other companies in the 817 area code with questionable legitimacy who are in no way affiliated with Power Industries or the Nat. H.S. Printing Assn.

If you contacted the college we were soliciting for and they knew nothing of any project we were fundraising for you spoke with the wrong person. Our organization takes great pains and goes to great lengths to protect our legitimacy and credibility as it is the life blood of our fundraising efforts. We are happy to cancel any sponsors ad before printing if a sponsor is in any way uncomfortable with their sponsorship. Cancelling your credit card was not necessary, nor was giving it to us in the first place. We do not require pre-payment for most sponsorship ads but they are appreciated.

We were contacted by one of your reps this past week.  We bought the t-shirt in representation of our local college that this company said they had a promotion going with.  We then called the college and they said they had no promotions of that kind going on.  So thenwe had to cancel the company credit card and have another issued.  We called the rep back and told her what happened and what we ended up having to do and to cancel our order and she said she would...with no argument. Now, today, we just got another call from another rep from that same area code but a different contact number, wanting to speak to the owner.  So now you have someone else trying???  Our answer won't change..It is NO!!!

I have used this company for 12 years for all my promotional items, pens, Tshirts, hats etc. I have never had a problem with any of their products. They made a mistake on one of my orders several years ago and I had my corrected order within 10 days! The sales staff there have always treated me courteously and professionally. I can't understand why there is so much negativity here when all my experiences with this company have been exemplary. My thoughts are that these are false postings by the competion trying to smear a good company. just call them and you will see. 800-256-9188.

so, being rude to a telemarketer only raises your blood pressure. you could have accomplished the task of getting rid of them without needing heart meds by simply being polite. :)

Telemarketers are what YOU make of them just like every other person you meet.

Imagine you were pumping gas at the station and someone aproached you to buy somekind of automotive product and you were abhorrantly rude...you would be suprised if they were rude back? Heck you just might end up lying on the ground next to your BMW.

Being rude to anyone benifits no one.

This previous post is a mean little person with anger issues as anyone can see. I work as a telemarketer and I have been with my company many years. Being rude or generally ugly to one of us only serves to make you look like an A$$. Classy people are polite and 99% of all other telemarketers I have worked with are polite and courteous. We are doing what we do to make money just like everyone else in the world and being rude to a potential customer does not further that goal so why would we be rude, why would one of us want to keep calling you after you politely said your were'nt interested? Why do you call us "telescammers? Back in the 80's there were a lot of tele-scams out there, but they are virtually gone thanks to modern technology. But you still want to give legitimate companies a black eye because you disagree with the method?

Go ahead, be rude, ugly or mean to the next telemarketer that calls you. We can always pass your number around to all our friends and call you 100 times a day just to prove a point. Like being rude to your waitress is a good idea...the person who handles your food...great idea, hope you like booger sandwiches.

You may be receiving "cold calls" because you may be listed as a business near a school we are working on. It is not a standard practice to call a busness allowing one ring and hang up. Perhaps a phone malfunction is causing the call to be dropped. The best method to ensure you do not receive further phone calls is simply to answer the phone and politely tell the representative you are not interested. We do not wish to call uninterested parties more than the one time it takes to get a response, that is counter productive and is a mis-use of everyone's time. Thank you for your understanding.

I am an officer with this company. I just had a conversation with one of our supporters that had googled our number and alerted me to this thread and the conversation that was going on here. I felt it necessary to respond and attempt to set the record straight.

We are the National High School Printing Assn. a subsidiary of Power Ind, Inc., Ron Powers is the CEO and whose name the telephone contract is written. This why the Caller ID signature appears as it does. Our fax number is the first number in our trunk of outbound phone lines which makes it the one that is displayed. We are located in Fort Worth, Tx. I cannot comment as to the reason the original commentor found other cities associated with this number. It is not by design that this has happened and I will look into the matter.

With regard to the honesty and integrity of our company allow me to explain. We are a business that supplies schools nation wide with items they can use to promote their school activites, raise funds for various programs or simply to raise school spirit. We receive signed contracts with Cheercoaches and Athletic Directors from schools around the country to enlist our help in obtaining these products for them through the sponsorships from their respective local business communities.  We NEVER call businesses to support any school for wich we have no contract, that would be fraud plain and simple. A practice I know some companies engage in but one we feel tarnishes the reputation of legitimate organizations llike ours.

I am encouraged in our business by the letters we receive thanking us for our efforts. Many of the schools we work for would never have the rescources or oportunity to have such items were it not for the support we raise for them. I am instantly reminded of a letter we received from the cheercoach at Sharpstown H.S. in Houston, Tx. that wrote us after receiving their T-shirts. She had the idea to use the shirts to sell and raise money to send the team to Cheer Camp for the first time in many years she said. Some coaches like the one I just wrote of display the ingenuity to truly put these items to work for them. Some will use these items as "Spirit items" and take them to the home games and have the girls throw a few of them into the stands each time the team scores etc... Like we see at some major sporting events. The crowd loves it and the sponsors get the advertising benifit, everybody wins.

In response to the person who suggested that "only one or two shirts etc. are supplied to the school and nobody knows where they came from"
That is a real issue with some companies. That is fraud in my opinion and is not in any way a practice we engage in.

Our T-shirt contract states we will supply "up to 200 t-shirts" to the school coach free of any and all charges. The number of sponsors we generate for the program directly effects the final number of shirts. Once we have closed a school project the shirts are shipped absoloutly free of any and all charges including shipping to the Cheercoach at the High School.

On a personal note, I have always taken pride in the service our business provides to our schools and their students. personally I would rather my H.S. student dedicate her time to her studies and other school activities instead of having to be out aproaching local businesses to support their various programs. Our company allows her to do just that.

Below is our main contact number. I provide it in the hopes that you only contact us with positive input as we have a limited number of staff to field these calls. I hope this response puts your minds at ease.

Regards,
Nat.H.S. Printing Assn.

Caller id said Ron Powers.  Didn't catch who they said they were with but they wanted to speak someone at our company about putting our company name and number on the back of the local high school mascots t-shirts for a fee.  They used the name of a nearby school and said that the shirts would be worn at every game (would not be specif about what sport) and that the company name and number would be read over the p.a. as an "official sponsor".
I was unable to reach anyone at the high school because it was MLK Jr. Day., but I know enough about the school and their athletic programs to strongly believe this is a scam.  I would like to pursue this further because I think anyone scamming money int the name of school kids needs to get what they deserve!
