"melissa" called from this number, left a message about me having to call back within 30 minutes about some kind of business deal.  Yeah, right... Sounds like some kind of sales thing, or scam, or ???  
I have no debts, but I DID once have a company try to collect a debt from someone with the same first and last name as me, but address was 20 miles away in a different town.
I told them I never had any dealings with the company they were collecting from, and never lived in that other town. Guy called me a liar.  I told him that if he EVER called me again that he would find himself in court explaining to a judge why he thinks it OK to call anyone and everyone with the same first and last name about this other guys' debt.

As a victim of i.d. theft I have been hounded by a collection agency.  When I established with a police report and affidavit of identity theft that I was not responsible for the debt they sold the debt to this agency - Pinnacle Financial Group - who buys old debts that can't be collected and then, apparently hounds people viciously.  They called 4 times in one day and first thing this morning today.  They have a few numbers (another one is (615) 866-2766.)   As per the FDCPA - Fair Debt Collection Practices Act-section 806 - I have sent by certified mail a Cease and Desist letter.  We'll see if it works.  If not, then I will file with the State Attorney General's office of each state, MN and TX.  They are not concerned with truth or justice or even the law but just in extorting money by vicious tactics regardless of the law.
In our case it really is harassment as I have an ill 83 year old husband, besides not being responsible for the debt.

Debt collector....Pinnacle Financial Group

Just found out it is some kind of collection agency known as Pinnacle Finance or something of the likes.  I googled the number again today (since they called my office) and found numerous comments regarding this agency.  Apparently, they just to collect very old debts.  I don't why they are calling me either.  I have very good credit and have never had anything turned over to a collection agency.  It seems very strange to me that when I first goggled this number it came up as a tanning salon in Arlington, Texas!!!!!  Really strange.  Makes you wonder about these people.  If I were you Joel, I would try to get a different cell number.  From reading other people's comments, they have no respect for the law and will call all hours of the night.  Thank God for AT&T Uverse.  I have blocked all calls to my home except from those I want to receive calls from.  YAY.  No more calls at home.  They can call all they want to my office..  They will never....and I mean never.... be able to speak with me.......I have great staff and they will continue to transfer them to a "no mans" line.  :)

They keep harassing my phone by calling every day for months now. I never answer the phone. I don't know who this is but since I got this new cell phone number it has been constant. Wish I never got this phone number.

I got a call from number 817-385-1085 & told her to stop calling me. I called the number back to see what the name of the company is and got a recording to cal 877-796-2497  which is Pinnacle Financial Group - this is a bottom of the line collection agency.

This number has been calling my home and now my work number.  It is suppose to be some tanning salon.  I don't know how they got my home number; let alone my work number.  I have never takien tanning sessions nor have I enrolled in anything.  I never put my work number on any documentation.
