Just had a charge from IMPULSE #60000 817 424 2085   on my husband's account (pending - in the amount of .01... but would have surely posted for something much higher.)  We called and cancelled his debit card before it posted. I'm currently on hold with Gamestop at 817-424-2085. No one will pick up... still on hold. The banker told me it was made from at "Skate Park" at 1:03AM.  The bank is investigating.Thankfully I check my account daily. This is obviously a theft/scam issue.

I had a $49 dollar charge from this company when I checked my bank account this morning.Not mine!

Oh yes we do.. i have ordered from game stop online using lets just say not My card and got a pre paid phone had them call to verify all my info or :their: info and walllaaaa..Order Confirmed and 4 100$ gift cards were sent to one of many email accounts of mine.. So think twice b4 you make such a childish remark!!

Got this number off a fraudulent charge on my credit card. It said Impulse on the charge description. I don't know about if this is Gamestop. Be careful out there. Check your credit card statement.

My 15 yr old son has 2 unauthorized charges on 11/22/11 on his debit card totaling $70.  The company is listed as Impulse, with this phone number, in Texas.  Looks like this happened to some other teens so, just in case this helps, we are in San Jose, CA.

My 17 year old daughter had a fraudulent debit charge to her card.  It posted at the bank and had this phone number with the post.

got this number from my credit card for an unauthorized purchase .. i am transferred to another line that no one answers.. i have been on hold now for about 30 minutes... tried different number but no people around.... what a company!!!!

Huh, they called me but I didn't hear anything. I said "hello" a bunch of times and hung up. Then they called back immediately, and I still heard nothing. Thanks for the info though Kim!

Also, I wanted to mention that if you called that number back past 5 p.m. central time, chances are you will not get an answer since that number rings the front receptionist's desk and she is not there after that time.  Hope this clears some things up for you guys.  Internet customer support, however, is there all hours of the night.

This is the phone number (they have several, but the main line is 817-424-2000) for Gamestop's corporate headquarters in Grapevine, Texas.  If you have received a call from them, they are either confirming an online order or for some reason, they have wrong phone information for someone who has made a sizable online/phone/pre-order.

Gamestop, I did an online purchase and prior to shipping they wanted to verify it was me. Nice touch! Probably not the best method to detect fraud, but they at least have a number they know reached the fraudster!

I just got the call & it was a Gamestop rep. I had made a large online purchase lastnight so I guess it's not a scam?

Got a call to confirm my order through Gamestop. I opted for the overnight shipping method and it was a relatively big order. So, I can understand why they would want to confirm.

I've been broke for a year so I didn't order anything and the number keeps popping up on my cell phone. Gotta be a scam.

I received a call from a representitive claiming to be from Gamestop.  Requested my billing address as confirmation for a PS3 order earlier in the week before fulfilling / shipping the order.  Has this happened to anyone else?

I got the call, the lady said that if I DID place an order, no need to call back, but if I DIDN'T place the order, to call them back immediately.
