I also worked for this company and yes please dnt be mad at the telemaeketers there just doing there job to make a proper living and yes they follow a script and the managers/bosses are a***ole there so fqkn rude and all they are calling for it to sell a subscription for a year worth of magazines and if u do it they give u a free "diamond watch"but its stupid and yes its cold calling and they are based from river oaks in tx.

Yeah, I just received a call and they didn't want to leave any messages. All the lady said :It's nothing important, I'll call back later, and she hung up right away.

So if its nothing important they should just stop calling and bothering people.

same number keeps calling me as well 817-731-7565. Googled the entire name and it comes up with a police report filed in 08/2006 of fraud. This is the entry:

"A resident of Mize Road reported to the Toccoa police that someone from the Mega Bucks L.L.C. called her recently to inform he that she had won a prize. Naturally, the caller asked the lady for personal information such as her full name, address and social security number. Being aware of the many scams that have been reported, the woman did not reveal any of the information and hung up on the caller."

Magabucks?  They can't spell?  Whatever.  STOP CALLING ME!

I wish whoever this is would leave me alone.  This phone no. calls me at least 3 times a day everyday.  Does anyone know who this is?

I have also been receiving calls from MagaBucks LLC - and my number is supposed to be unlisted/unpublished and on the do not call list.  How do they get the # ??? !!!  Or are both of those requested service features a joke?  Would appreciate insights from anyone.  Thanks!

I used to work for this company. As long as you have an answering machine or you just don't answer you will continue to get these phone calls. In order to get your number off the list you need to answer the phone & let the person calling know that you want to be put on the NO CALL LIST,(please be kind as it is not the callers fault). These calls come from a dialing system and the caller has no control over what numbers they are given. If you don't want these calls to continue answer and make your request for the NO CALL LIST.

I'm only 17, and today I got a phone call saying that I won 3.8 million fomr a blocked number. Somehow they had my home phone, name, and address. This call happened the day after I filled out an online form to get a quote from Progressive. In their defense, I got to the online quote from a sidebar ad while looking at used cars on Yahoo!Auto. The woman on the phone said that I could've been entered through shopping at Walmart or something. Anyway, she said that the company name was Mega Bucks when I asked. I asked her to call back later (when my parents got home), but she didn't. Oh well.

I got a call from 817-731-7565 at work when I was very busy.  They asked for me by my first name.  I saw the caller ID said MEGABUCKS OF MN.  It has never been my practice to give out my office info for personal matters.  I told them they had contacted a business.  They did not identify themselves but insisted they wanted me by my first and last name.  I said this was a business and no one here by that name.  Then they asked for me by my first, middle initial and last name.  Their persistence about getting to me raised a red flag, especially since they never identified who they were.   I hung up on them.

They keep calling me and I never answer they finally let a message and it sounded weird. I'm not going to call them back after reading all these stories!!

The first day they called I won 10 million - I hung up on them.  The second day they called I won 1.8 million - now they keep calling with a blocked #. They identify themselves as the Mega Bucks Sweepstakes - same as from phone # 817-731-7565

By the way, if you call this number back you will get an automated answer machine. I just called and informed them that I no longer want to receive any phone calls from them and to remove me from their list.

If they don't, you can sue a company for calling you after you informed them to put you on the DO NOT CALL LIST.

Ok.....i know everyone that talks about this number is pissed...but i used to work for them...as a matter of fact i just quit yesterday. The workers have a script which they read and thats it. the numbers pop up on a computer and we read the script. when you pick up does it sound something like this....HI MY NAME IS.... AND I AM CALLING LONG DISTANCE FROM IRL OF THE SOUTHWEST. no, dont be worried...i worked for this company and just quit yesterday..they dont have any way to get your credit card number unless you give it to them. also they are reading a script and the numbers just apear on a computer. all it is is selling magazines

Caller keeps calling my unlisted no. saying to press one...then disconnects

This number continues to call my residence with the caller ID identifying it as Mega Bucks. When the phone is answered by someone else other than myself, they refuse to leave a message.

Received call from MAGABUCKS LLC.  (U'd think they would at least spell Mega properly!) Anyway, after a week or so of them calling every day I finally answered.  They asked for my landlady, who my phone is registered to, and I let them know they had the WRONG number and to remove me from their list! They were jerks about it and even after they removed me, they tried retelling me their phone # in case I want to call them...It'll be a cold day...
