Add me to list of frustrated people.  Just got "the call", called them back. They wanted me to pay on a debt from 1999 ( that had already been paid ) and asked me to make them an "offer" so, I offered them an ear full. This debt had been paid over 10 years ago..

I got 2 calls from another #, to call this #, regarding someone who used to be a friend of mine who used MY landline # as a contact when he ordered the cell phone he gave up after six months. The problem is, I don't know where the f%$Kthe guy is, since he is HOMELESS!!  How can I give the MF a msg to call the above #, if I don't know where he is???

My mom has been receiving calls from this number, she is 70 years old, so she asked me to call them for her, so yesterday I did and spoke with a man who  told me my mom had a credit card with Bank One that she opened in 1997 and quit paying in 2006, I explained to him that she paid that card off in 2006 and he needed to send her the complete file from the date the card was issued until present, he wanted my email address I told him no if they had a debt they wanted to collect on they could pay the postage to send the requested information to her address, he said it is over 30 pages, I told him not my problem he could either send it or stop calling. I then told him what the statute of limitations are in Illinois for collecting on credit cards, at this point he said I am not discussing this with you and hung up on me. Which is just the proof I needed that they are trying to collect money that is not truly owed and pray on the elderly.  

Bottom line don't pay this company anything until you have proof

I got another call by NCO...they keep harrassing me even after being told to "Take Me Off Your Calling List" and "Do Not Call"

The caller ID comes in as Engle L 817-865-2020 also they did not conduct the MiniMaranda as required by law.

Someone needs to sue them heavily!

We're getting a recorded message for "Bob Woods" & wanting him to call re: an acct number.  The calls have been coming a couple times a week.  Never heard of Bob Woods so will not pay to call them back.

I get a recorded message looking for some guy I used to rent to 10 years ago.  They call all the time, i never answer the land line, so it goes to voice mail, so it does not bother me.

I get a call from this number almost daily,have never returned it but will do so tomorrow. Has anyone else been getting this call still?

I have put this gentle men out of business folks. He is disbared at this point as of Feb. 3 2011. Now Me and others are suing him for fraud. He was supposedly a real estate attorney of 28 years... B.S. he lost our house and plenty of others and made millions off of us. I toke his license.

Call weekly, very annoying.  Answered a few times to try and clarify, but only spoke to a recording.  Have no debts.  If indeed it's possible I may have overlooked something (I doubt), wouldn't you send something in writing and stop calling for months.  Get your info straight, stop the annoying recorded calls.

How is your claim going? I am having the same problem. Every time I call back they tell me I did not receive a call from them because I am not in their system. These calls come almost daily and sometimes more. It's very irritating. He gave me the number to their corporate office 877 357 8535 and that guy was just an **** and told me it was my phone company. I called the phone company and they cannot fix it. The number cannot be blocked b/c it is not local. A lawyer says they cannot fix it. I feel helpless.

didn't leave a message but called my house today at 9:26am and it said Lawoffice, Engle on the caller id

Try filing a complaint with your state bar association.  They could pull the LAWYERS license.

Had the exact thing happen. They have called several times, looking for my sister, my wife spoke with them and told them she didnt live here, and not to call back. Today they call, and my wife again returns there call, talks to a female, and my wife, frustratingly, tells them to stop calling, the lady on the other end yelled at her, and hung up. So I called back, and low and behold the voice that answers was the same voice that left the message, so I asked home to stop calling, and harassing my family, and he accuses me of harassing him, because I returned his phone call. Ahh, but then he says he did not call at all.

These people are nuts, Next he tells me to grow up, and then he says listen , just listen to this, and he hangs up.

I just filed a complaint with the WV Attorney General's office against these clowns... he loves filing lawsuits...

Spelling is tough when shaking with anger. Chastising me over my tone...the nerve.

These clowns...calls me, I return the call. I've just heard their distinct voice. He has the nerve to say he did not call me...same voice. I 'm insulted at this point. I'm like, how the hell did I get your number then? He immediately gets his pants in a bunch at gets gangster. You better watch your mouth" he says and raises his voice. I was so angry I was shaking...well, I let it fly at that point. I get a second call two days later, I call them back, in a pleasant tone. I figure I need to at least know who they wanted. Some person I had never heard of before. I said if you are in fact a law office, you can certainly find out who resides at this address. STOP CALLING I get a call today!! on a Saturday. What law offices work on a Saturday? Now I'm bugged. Different guy, pulls the same crap. I didn't call you he says..big burly deep sounding voice on my answering machine, I'm calling the number back, big burly deep sounding voice replys. I'm back to where I was with the first call. He asks my number, I tell him, he again says, there is no record of that. I say your are ridiculous man, your number is on my caller ID, your voice. This guys sternly says like he "you better stop yelling (my tone is raised...but not yelling). The way I see it they owe me and apology and he's getting attitude with me. No real lawyer, or legit collection agency would so easily cop such attitude (prior to me cussing). I"m on a mission and contacting the media about them. Thinks for the rant, these people have wrecked three days for me, so far.

I read bud Gibbs says the same stuff about everyone. I had call from this number then saw hibbs statement.all his is is a debt cleaner.no better or worse than a collector.also he says to not pay bills you owe you pay.we borrow we pay it is the american way

There's no such thing as a brand new number.  Your new number is someone else's old number.  The person who had the number before you got it is behind on their bills.
