Not a scam - I got a call from these guys and it was a legit debt that I owed.

said I had a deliquent loan, no such thing, kept asking me for information, I finally asked what loan and they couldn't answer

They called twice claiming to be looking for a "nancy malio" [not my name]. Caller said her name was Lisa from Fidelity Credit about a debt collection and gave X258 to call back about this "urgent collections matter." Seems like BS + based on these posts I did not call back.

They said they were a pre litigations department, they wanted $12,000 on a $17,000 debt. Funny thing is they said that unsecured debt can not become a judgement. THe debt they called about is unsecured. SCAM!
