I received a call from this number claiming to be a prosecting attorney.  Does anyone know if this is legit?  Sounds like a scam.

I got a call from the number 818-746-3844 claiming to be a attoney for a company online stating that a comany by the name easy cash.USA wanted to put charges on me never heard of this company or have never business with them I tried looking up the number they called all I get is land line no info the male that contacted me want to collect a payment on a account he said I had if any one else is getting calls please report it

The same number called me claiming to be an attorneys office... its a bunch of crap i think... attorneys offices dont call you from a Call Center.. (you could hear all the chatter in the back ground) Also (no offense) but everyone was foreign.. so it's probablly some outsourced inbound telemarketing company. They were accusing me of outlandish things and he said if i dont pay 600.00 over the phone now, then i'm goin to jail on friday.. ??? Craziness.. I think its a horrible scam. and if anyone knows how to report it they should.

I tried reverse lookup on it.. and it came back from Canoga,Ca as a landline #... sounds very suspicious...

I got a call from 818-746-3844 today stating there was a court case against me and that I owe them 7k for a debt unbeknown to be, that I needed to go to court, something about a subpoena, etc. No one would provide the company name or the name of who I was speaking with (when I asked who I was speaking with the call was transferred to another person). I told them I was reporting the company as a fraud/scam.

I received multiple calls from this number and they were so rude. They told me that there were three fraud charges against me and that I needed to send them money in order for them to process my case or else the police will come to arrest me. I was scared, so I did a litte research on the number. I input the number on google and found out that I am not the only one these people are harrasing. So I did these a**holes a favor a called them back and harass them back. You guys should do the same. These people are f***ing lowlifes and have nothing better to do but lie and manipulate good people to get what they want. They are disgusting. If you ever receive a call from them, just greet them with a big ol F*** YOU!

these are the same people that have been calling me for several months sayin that i owe them money from an internet loan but they will NEVER show you proof. they always say that you have a court date at 11 am the next day but will NEVER tell you where the court is.  This is a scam they have phished your information from a company or from somewhere online. cuss them out everyday like i do.

Have any of you had a follow up w/ this number?  What happened after that call?  I couldn't understand the person I was trying to talk to & figure out why they were calling. When I asked him if I could please speak to someone else he got rude & said you call back one hour then hung up.

I kep getting a jamaican man calling my cell phone AND my home number stating if i dont call him back then "he wishes me good luck about the events that are about to unfold upon me." I have no idea who this fraek is but the fact he is gainfully employed at all indicates this company is a hoax. He sounds psycho and is not mentally right.

They have been harrasing me  all day.  Calling me at my job. Leaving messages on my supervisors phone.  They asked for 1200.

Threaten to call homeland security on the guy with the accent.  I did and the calls stopped immediately

thank goodness I was smart to wake up, investigate into this and went to my nearest police station to let them know of this.  They changed the phone number they are calling from...do not answer any calls from these bogus people...510-279-6011 was the number they used on me.  Then he wanted me to pay w/my credit card, write a letter to them authorizing payment, w/my credit card info the 3 sec numbers on back of my card and fax to a Washington State fax #. BU***HIT!!! they got the wrong one....I pray not too many people fall this crap!!!
